Bollywood actress, Geeta Basra has been away from the silver screen for the past six years, and her fans had been missing her terribly. However, she is all set to make a strong comeback with her film, Notary. The actress tied the knot with Indian cricketer, Harbhajan Singh, and the duo has been living happily together. Geeta and Harbhajan are blessed with two children, a daughter, Hinaya Heer Plaha, and a son, Jovan Veer Singh Plaha.
Now, in a recent interview with a leading media portal, Geeta Basra opened up about making a comeback after six years and shared how she feels about leaving her six-year-old daughter at home for the first time. The mother of two shared that she is planning to take her son with her to the shoot and also revealed how her hubby, Harbhajan fufils his daddy duties.

In an interview with Zoom TV, Geeta Basra opened up about how maternity has changed things in her life and shared that she was not ready to work after embracing motherhood. Mentioning how she gave her daughter, Hinaya, all the time she needed, Geeta revealed that she wanted to be at home as her hubby, Harbhajan was always travelling. In her words:
"Life changed a lot, and it was my new decision not to work. I wasn't ready. My daughter is 6 and a half and, till now, I was with her every single day. This was the time I had to give to her, and the same for Jovan as well. Jovan will be travelling with me. Mera khud ka decision tha as Bhajji was always travelling and he was not around. So I had decided that someone should be at home."
Further in the interview, Geeta talked about taking her son, Jovan to the shoot with her and shared that she wants her kids to understand that it's important for her to follow her passion for acting. Reflecting on the same, the Second Hand Husband actress said:
"We don't have a nine-to-five job that I can't take my kids to. I want my children to grow up with the idea that their mother has a passion and she can follow that too. I want them to be raised in a way that they should know that their mom can balance well between the two. "

Talking about Harbhajan Singh as a father, Geeta revealed that he's a hands-on daddy and he's very good with kids. She added that she has nothing to worry about because her daughter, Hinaya is much older now. Adding that women should not feel guilty about their kids, the actress said:
"He's a good father, and my daughter is much older. Monday to Friday school hai toh school mein rahegi and yeah Harbhajan is very good with the kids. I've no worries at all. Aisa kuch tension karne wali baat nahi hai. I believe that women should not feel guilty about their bacche... Fortunately, I had a great support system, and main kam pe nahi ja pate agar ghar pe support nahi hota."
For the unversed, Geeta Basra had tied the knot with Indian cricketer, Harbhajan Singh in 2015.
