The second season of web series, RejctX, directed by Goldie Behl had released a few days back and the director revealed that it was his son, Ranveer Behl, who had helped him with the millennial lingo. In an interview with International Business Times India, Goldie acknowledged the contribution of his son in the making of his teenage drama and said, “He guided me and helped me a lot during the first season. He helped with the lingo and slangs. For instance, How sick! Oh my God! it's so sick in today's millennial lingo means you are great. He helped me with the NBA sneakers so I got approval for him for the clothes and sneakers.”
In the same interview, Goldie Behl also talked about what the Behl-Bendre family is doing to productively spend their time during the lockdown. Goldie remarked, “We have discovered Shakespeare. It's so heavy. We read aloud to each other. We have read hamlet out to each other. We also now discovering Manto (English) translation. And that how we spend quality time with each other. Sonali has a quest for no brainer action movies or documentary so its poles apart for her, the last we all saw together was Extraction and The last dance. I and Sonali aren't interested in cooking. But our Son is interested a lot he starts cooking and baking pieces of stuff so Sonali dabbles in it sometimes.” (Also Read: When Aishwarya Rai And Her Mom Ate Their Meal, Sitting On Ground After Being Crowned As 'Miss World')

In 2018, Sonali Bendre had penned how difficult was the dilemma to inform her son, Ranveer Behl about cancer as ever since he was born, his happiness and well-being have been the centre of anything she and her husband, Goldie Behl had ever done. Elaborating on the same, Sonali had written, “From the moment he was born 12 years, 11 months and 8 days ago, my amazing @rockbehl took ownership of my heart. From then on, his happiness and well-being have been the centre of anything @goldiebehl and I ever did. And so, when the Big C reared its ugly head, our biggest dilemma was what and how we were going to tell him.”
Revealing how maturely Ranveer Behl had reacted to the news of her cancer and instantly became a source of strength and positivity for her, Sonali Bendre had continued, “As much as we wanted to protect him, we knew it was important to tell him the full facts. We’ve always been open and honest with him and this time it wasn’t going to be different. He took the news so maturely… and instantly became a source of strength and positivity for me. In some situations now, he even reverses roles and takes on being the parent, reminding me of things I need to do! I believe that it’s imperative to keep kids involved in a situation like this. They are a lot more resilient than we give them credit for. It’s important to spend time with them and include them, rather than make them wait on the side-lines, not being told yet instinctively knowing everything. In our effort to protect them from the pain and realities of life, we might end up doing the opposite. I’m spending time with Ranveer right now, while he’s on summer vacation. His madness and shenanigans help me #SwitchOnTheSunshine. And today, we derive strength from each other #OneDayAtATime.” (Also Read: Ayushmann Khurrana Wishes Dad, P.
