On September 6, 2022, Balaji Motion Pictures released the trailer of the much-awaited film, Goodbye. The film is directed by Vikas Bahl, whose last film as a director was Hrithik Roshan starrer, Super 30. With so many stakes on his shoulders, the movie is also quite special for South Indian actress, Rashmika Mandanna, as she will be making her debut in the Hindi film industry with this film. Apart from her, the cast of the film features Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Elli AvrRam in major roles.
The trailer of the film, Goodbye is received well by the audience, and especially because of the freshness of the script and the fact that it is a family film, people are quite excited about it. Famous producer, Ekta Kapoor is producing this film, and during the trailer launch of the film, she was moved to tears as she was talking about the presence of our parents in our lives.

Recently at the trailer launch event of the much-awaited film, Goodbye in Mumbai, an emotional incident happened, videos from which are now doing rounds on social media. Actually, the trailer launch event was attended by the film's producer, Ekta Kapoor, and during the course of the event, while interacting with the media, she started crying. The famed producer was talking about the impact of losing a parent and how it feels to celebrate your birthdays without the people who gave you birth. Ekta also added that she could not imagine a person's pain in such circumstances. She stated:
"It is said that the most difficult birthday is when those who had given you birth are not in your life. And that day comes in the life of many people. That fear, that day... I don't know how people are able to deal with it. How can you live?"
Everyone is aware of the beautiful fact that Ekta Kapoor is extremely close to her parents, Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor. However, what people don't know is that she's a pampered child, and there was a time when she wasn't allowed on the sets of her father's films. Well, last year, during the Diwali special episode of the famous comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, Ekta had admitted that she was possessive of her father, Jeetendra when she was a child. The producer also added that she had never liked her father doing romantic scenes with heroines. The doting daughter had said:
"They used to not let me go on his set because I could attack his heroines. I was so jealous, ki mere papa ke saath koi kaam nahi karega. Mere father ke saath koi baat kare mujhe bilkul achcha nahi lagta tha."

The doting parents, Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor had never restricted their kids. When it comes to their daughter, Ekta Kapoor, they have always told her to follow her heart and find her own way. For instance, on TED Talks India Nayi Soch, when Ekta was invited on the show to talk about her success in the television industry and how her father, Jeetendra has been her biggest supporter. The doting daughter had recalled an incident when a person advised her daddy to invest in gold for her marriage instead of her career. Revealing what her father had said to him, Ekta had proudly stated:
"The gold should be within her. What will she do with tangible gold? I want every girl to find the gold within her. And that gold should shine on the entire world."
For the unversed, Goodbye will be released in theatres on October 7, 2022.
