Govinda left the entire nation in shock after he shot himself with his own licensed gun accidentally. Everyone wondered if there was any foul play. Even the industry was shaken, and people wanted to know what exactly happened with the superstar. However, with God's grace, Govinda is out of dance, and he is back to his home.
As Govinda was discharged from the hospital, he greeted the media, who tirelessly covered the news and eagerly waited for him to come back safe and sound. The superstar humbly addressed them, and despite being in a wheelchair with his leg injured, Govinda posed for the cameras.

Govinda even expressed his gratitude to the country for its love, prayers, and support, as it was their blessing that kept him safe. He further talked about his injury. The superstar shared that it was a deep injury and he couldn't believe what happened with him.
Recalling the scary incident, Govinda revealed that he was leaving for a show in Kolkata at around 5 in the morning. When the gun fell down and it misfired. Govinda added that he was shocking seeing a fountain of blood coming out. He was quoted as saying:
"Pray for me. It was a deep injury and when it happened I could not believe it. It felt like what happened. I was leaving for a show in Kolkata and it was early morning around 5… woh giri aur chal padi (it fell and misfired)… I was stunned and then I saw a fountain of blood coming out."
For those who don't know, Govinda, on October 1, 2024, misfired his licensed gun while he was cleaning it. The gun accidentally fired on his foot. According to reports, a part of the gun's lock was broken, which made it misfire. It is also reported that the gun was had all six bullets loaded in it.

The moment the news came out, his fans and industry got distressed. After a successful surgery and pulling out the bullet, Govinda released a voice note. Govinda thanked his fans for their concern and prayers. He further shared an update on his health and revealed that the bullet was taken out of his knee. Govinda was quoted as saying:
“Namahskaar, pranaam, Main Hoon Govinda. Aap sab logon ka aashirwaad aur maa Baap ka aashirwaad hai aur Guru ki Krupa ke wajah se… mujhe jo goli lagi thi, who nikaal di gayee hai. Main dhanyawad deta hoon yahaan ke doctor kaa …aadarniya doctor Agarwaal ji kaa aur aap sab logon ki praartahana jo hai… aap logon ka dhanyawaad”
