Welcoming a baby is one of the biggest blessings a couple can get. Celebrity couple, Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary are finally going to become parents after 11 years of their married life. After playing the roles of Lord Ram and Sita in the television show, Ramayan, Debina and Gurmeet had turned their on-screen love into their off-screen lives and had begun their forever journey on February 15, 2011. And now, they are ready to start a new chapter of their lives.
For the unversed, Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee had a traditional Hindu wedding and had chosen not to go overboard with their wedding ceremony in 2011. They had made it special by tying the knot a day after Valentine's Day, i.e., February 15, 2011. Gurmeet and Debina had a registered marriage at their home in the presence of their families and very few close friends. Nothing loud, nothing flashy; just a simple wedding for two people in love!

Debina and Gurmeet’s Bengali wedding pictures had stirred social media. However, later, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Debina had cleared the air and had stated that it was just a Reel from their upcoming short film. In her words:
"It was just a reel wedding for our short film, but we almost kind of did it (rituals) again. Our director (Ram Kamal Mukherjee of Subho Bijoya) is also a Bengali, and he knew all the nitty-gritty of a Bengali wedding. Everything was arranged from Kolkata, the outfit which Gurmeet was wearing was a special groom’s attire which came from Kolkata. It didn’t feel like we were shooting."
Congratulations to Gurmeet and Debina!
