Dil Hi Toh Hai fame, Gurpreet Bedi finally tied the knot with the love of her life, Kapil Arya on December 22, 2021. Their friends from the industry like Varun Badola, Rajeshwari Sachdev, Karanvir Bohra, Teejay Sidhu, Shama Sikander, Meet Brothers, Paras Arora and others attended their wedding festivities. Gurpreet ensured that each of her wedding functions set a different trend and so was her vidaai as she chose a horse over a palki to move to her husband’s house post-wedding.
On December 22, 2021, Gurpreet and Kapil had tied the knot, first, in a Gurudwara wedding and later, at night in a taam-jham wedding. For the Gurudwara wedding, she had ditched the lehenga and had opted for a velvet maroon-coloured Patiala suit. Her suit had featured golden embroidery on the yoke of her kurta and the hem of her pants. She had added a kiran-border dupatta and had completed her look with a maang teeka, matching earrings, a neckpiece, a nath and subtle makeup. On the other hand, her groom, Kapil, had looked dapper in a mustard sherwani with a maroon-coloured turban.

A while back, Gurpreet Bedi shared a series of videos on her IG stories from her vidaai, and it was quite unique. In the videos, she can be seen dressed in her wedding lehenga and trying to climb on a horse for her vidaai. With the help of a few of her friends, she managed to get on the horse and atop it, she wrote, "bridezilla moment" and "Bidai done right."
For the night wedding, while Gurpreet had worn a pink and golden velvet lehenga, her groom, Kapil had worn a light sea green coloured floral sherwani. Their friend, Varun Badola hai shared a video of their wedding on his IG handle, which had comprised of some beautiful moments from their shaadi. From Gurpreet’s bridal entry to their jaimala and their phere, Varun had recorded it all. Sharing the video, he had written:

In a conversation with The Times Of India, Gurpreet Bedi had talked about her wedding plans and had said:
"I planned my wedding just a month ago. This was not our initial plan, things just happened suddenly. Kapil and I were planning on a registered wedding, which eventually ended up being a big fat wedding with around 200 people. Some of my relatives who are settled abroad were planning to come but they couldn't due to the ongoing pandemic situation."
Talking about the surreal feeling of being married, Gurpreet had mentioned that it was like a big vacation for her and her husband, Kapil. She had added:
"Kapil and I didn't feel like we were getting married. Our wedding was more like a big vacation for us. We enjoyed every bit of it."
