Hardik Pandya's return to the Mumbai Indians has created a lot of stir, as his team has lost all three matches in the ongoing IPL 2024. In fact, Hardik faced a lot of backlash from taking captaincy from Rohit Sharma. Things took an ugly turn when he was booed by the fans during a match in Ahmedabad. Amid the constant pressure of performance and making his team win, Hardik took the shed of God and visited Somnath temple.
When nothing works, God is the one who rescues you, and our cricketers know this better. After Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya offered prayers to Lord Shiva and performed Rudra-Abhishek at Somnath temple in Gujarat. In a video that has been going viral on the internet, we can see Hardik decked up in a kurta, and he prayed to Lord Shiva ahead of his important match on April 7, 2024, in Delhi.

We have often come across fans using distasteful means to show off their anger at a celebrity or a cricketer's bad performance. However, things took an ugly turn when Hardik received booing from the crowd during a match against Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After facing defeat in two matches, it was another chance for the Mumbai Indians to make a comeback. According to reports, the moment Hardik stepped onto the field, the spectators started booing him. Even when Sanjay Manjrekar tried to shush the crowd and asked them to behave they didn't stop booing at Hardik.
However, Rohit Sharma tried to control the situation. Without making it obvious, Rohit made a hand gesture for the crowd to calm down. The video went viral, and fans loved Rohit's gesture for his fellow teammate. But, the crowd's behaviour towards a National player was unacceptable and became a point of discussion for many.
We hope Hardik gets back in form and shuts all the trolls!
