Pakistani cricketer, Haris Rauf landed in an ugly fight with a Pakistani fan on the streets of the USA. The video went viral on the internet, wherein the fast bowler was seen charging against the fan. His wife did her best to stop him, and some people, including security, did their best to stop Haris. For the unversed, Pakistani players have been receiving harsh comments after their poor performance in the T20 World Cup. Currently, the cricketer was on holiday with his family before returning to the country.
In a clip that was shared on the social media platform, X, Haris was seen walking with his wife, Muzna. When a group of fans greeted them and requested for a selfie. In the 54-second clip, the fans and the cricketers' conversation wasn't clear, but Haris was seen losing his cool as he charged towards them. He was also heard saying:

"Indian hoga yeh.."

To this, the fan retorted, "Pakistani hoon." Haris was seen losing his cool as he charged towards him, despite failed attempts of his wife, Muzna, to stop him. He even took off his slippers to run towards the fans and was about to hit him when he was stopped by one of them just in time. The video went viral, days after Pakistan's dramatic exit from the T20 World Cup 2024.

As soon as the video went viral on the internet, Haris took to his social media handle, X, to share his side of the story. The cricketer revealed that he didn't want to address the matter on social media, but since the video is out, he needs to share his thoughts. He added that as public figures, they are entitled to being loved or get criticised. However, he will not tolerate it when the comments are on his family, and he would not hesitate to give it back.
Haris Rauf, who is 30 years old, set a record by becoming the third-fastest bowler ever to pick 100 T20I wickets during his stint in the T20 World Cup 2024. His journey has been incredible. Until the age of 25, he had not played a game of professional cricket. In 2018, he made his debut by playing for Lahore Qalandars in the Abu Dhabi T20 tournament, which Pakistan won. And rest, as we say, is history!
