Hema Malini is ageing like a fine wine, and to this day, her beauty speaks a thousand words. Hailed as the Dream Girl of Indian cinema, Hema Malini garnered a huge limelight recently after she ditched her high-profiled celeb image and instead travelled as a commoner in the local public transport.
Taking to her IG handle, Hema Malini shared glimpses of her metro ride with the general public. Along with the pictures, the veteran actress revealed how it took two hours for her to reach Dahisar by car. So, while coming back, she decided to take the metro. Her note can be read as:
“I must share with all of you my unique, wonderful experience. Drove 2 hours to reach Dahisar by car, so tiring! In the eve decided I would try the metro, and OMG! What a joy it was!True, we went thro tough times during the constr, but worth it! Clean, fast & ws in Juhu in 1/2 hr.”

Not just this, Hema Malini also shared a couple of videos from inside the metro. In the glimpses, as the actress boarded the female compartment of the Mumbai metro, people looked at her in disbelief. After a few moments, many ladies came forward to click pictures with her. The veteran actress, who is also a doting grandmother, was seen playing with a cute little girl. Sharing her experience, Hema Malini wrote:
“After my metro experience, decided to go by auto from DN Nagar to Juhu & that too was fulfilled. Landed by auto at my house & the dazed security could not believe their eyes! All in all, a wonderful, pleasurable experience for me! In the metro with the public.”

Hema Malini also gave glimpses of her auto ride as she shot the whole experience on her mobile. The actress did not travel alone and was accompanied by her security. The Dream Girl also gave a view of the Mumbai roads and revealed how she enjoyed herself thoroughly.

One of the top actresses of her time, Hema made her debut as a dancer in a Tamil film. In 1968, when she made her Hindi film debut with the film, Sapno Ka Saudagar and won the love of many. During the shooting of one of her films, Hema fell in love with the He-Man of Bollywood, Dharmendra and the duo got married on May 2, 1979. The couple has two beautiful daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
On the work front, Hema Malini was last seen in the film, Shimla Mirchi in 2020.
