Hina Khan is undoubtedly one of the most prominent names in Indian showbiz. After cementing her name in the television industry with her role as 'Akshara' in the daily soap, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, she made a name for herself in films as well. However, Hina recently shocked everyone when she revealed that she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.
On July 13, 2024, Hina once again took to her Instagram account to share another anecdote from her cancer journey so far. She penned a note and posted a few pictures with her mother. In the note, she revealed that the pictures were taken on the same day when she informed her mother about her diagnosis.

She further mentioned that even though her mother crumbled after hearing the shocking news about her cancer, the latter found courage and held Hina in her arms, providing her with the strength she needed to fight back. Sharing that a mother's heart can consume an ocean of sorrow for her children, the actress penned:
"A mother’s heart can consume an Ocean of Sorrow and Pain to provide Shelter, love and comfort to her children. This was the day she received the news of my diagnosis, the shock that she felt was inexplicable, but she found a way to hold me and forget her pain. A Superpower in which Mothers excel always. Even her world was crumbling down yet she found a way to shelter me in her arms and give me strength."
On July 1, 2024, Hina took to her Instagram account to post a video where she revealed how she got to know about her cancer. At the beginning of the video, Hina was seen in an all-glam avatar, attending the red carpet of an awards show and also receiving an award. However, in the next part, the actress was seen walking in the hallway of a hospital, where she got a bit emotional, as Hina was getting her first chemo that day.

Hina posted the video along with a courageous note and shared that she was informed about the diagnosis while she was attending the awards show. Moreover, the actress also mentioned that she consciously made a choice to normalise this, and she took this as an opportunity to reinvent herself. Hina further disclosed that she went to the hospital immediately after the award show. Her note can be read as:
