Hina Khan is one of the most talented actresses in the television industry. It was last year when Hina Khan confirmed the buzz about her being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Hina has been a tough fighter, and she often takes to her social media handles and shares snippets from her inspiring journey. Despite it, she continues to be positive and shows off her strength, which demonstrates her fighting spirit. Recently, Hina talked about her cancer journey and revealed what was her first reaction to the news of being diagnosed with breast cancer.
While appearing on the Best Dancer vs. Super Dancer: Champions Ka Tashan, Hina Khan reflected on her cancer journey. The actress shared that it was her partner, Rocky Jaiswal, who first gave her the news. Talking about the same, Hina added that after she had her dinner, her partner shared the news, and he started crying. Hina stated that it hit her hard, and she remained silent for the next few minutes. In Hina Khan's words:
"The night I found out, my partner came home while I was having dinner. After I finished, he told me the results were positive, and a tear rolled down his cheek. It hit me hard; for 10 minutes, I was silent.”
Talking more about the same, Hina Khan shared that just ahead of her diagnosis was shared she and her brother ordered falooda, and when the doorbell rang, she felt that ‘ghar mein meetha aaya hai.’ Hina Khan revealed how that falooda became a turning point for her, but instead of being despairing, she became positive. Sharing how they all ate falooda and went to sleep, Hina mentioned:
"Right before the diagnosis was shared, I had ordered falooda with my brother. When the bell rang for the delivery, it felt like ‘ghar mein meetha aaya hai.’ That falooda became a turning point for me. Instead of despair, I decided to stay positive. We ate the falooda together, and then we went to sleep.”
Going forward, Hina Khan talked about realising that the caregivers go through more than the patient, and she always tried to keep up a positive atmosphere at her home. Hina stated that she never behaved like a patient, but she actually kept up her positive and lively self. Hina also talked about her surgery, which was expected to take 8 hours, but took 15 hours instead. The actress revealed that when she was taken out of the operation theater, she just looked at her caregivers and smiled by holding their hands, which changed everything.
On July 14, 2024, Rocky took to his IG handle and shared two adorable photos of Hina Khan, wherein she was looking cute, wearing her quirky blue apron, and holding tools to eat the food. Sharing the post, Rocky revealed how he cooked her favourite meal for her, and how life just makes sense when his girl is happy. He also mentioned how his world just lights up when Hina smiles and when nothing else matters when they are together. Moreover, Rocky's love for Hina, in every way, proves that true love exists.
