Renowned Bollywood singer and rapper, Yo Yo Honey Singh's personal life is going through a lot of turmoil for the past few months. Firstly, his wife, Shalini Talwar had brought allegations of domestic violence against him. Not only that she had also claimed that Honey Singh was involved in several extra-marital affairs after their wedding.
For the unversed, Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar had known each other for seventeen years. The duo were childhood sweethearts, and Honey Singh had tied the knot with his ladylove on January 23, 2011. The duo had completed ten years of marital bliss in 2021. But differences started growing between the duo, and it got so ugly that Shalini had to move to the court of law for help.

On September 3, 2021, Honey Singh appeared at the Tis Hazari court for the hearing of the domestic violence charges brought upon him. When ETimes reached out to senior advocate, Sandeep Kapur, he revealed that Shalini Talwar would be able to go to his house to collect her belongings. He said, “Honey Singh and his parents appeared before the court on Friday. One interim relief was granted and on Sunday, Shalini Talwar will go to their house to collect all her belongings, and lawyers can be present.”
Sandeep Kapur also stated that they would be discussing two other interim reliefs in the next hearing. He added, "The other two interim relief will be discussed in the next hearing which is for the house for Shalini Talwar and her interim compensation.” Kapur further revealed that Metropolitan Magistrate, Tania Singh called Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar to her chamber and tried to counsel them before taking a divorce.

Stating the same, Sandeep Kapur told the portal, “The judge was trying to see if there is a chance of reconciliation or not because she has given them counseling in the chamber and has asked both of them to think about it.”
Earlier, on August 28, 2021, Honey Singh and his estranged wife, Shalini Talwar, were summoned to appear before the Delhi Court for a hearing of their case. While on one side, Shalini had appeared before the court on the other side, Honey Singh had moved a plea seeking exemption from being present in the court, due to major health problems. However, the Metropolitan Magistrate, Tania Singh had warned him to take the court's orders seriously as nobody is above the law.

On the professional front, Honey Singh's last track was the hit-single, Saiyaan Ji.
