Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad made their relationship official in May 2023 when they walked hand-in-hand at Karan Johar's 50th birthday bash. Since then, they have been spotted together at various public joints and Bollywood events. However, a few months ago, Saba mentioned how her career was being hampered by her relationship with Hrithik. Following that, Hrithik was spotted gracing public events like Anant Ambani's wedding and Farah Khan's mother's funeral all alone.
This made the netizens speculate that Hrithik and Saba have broken up. Although Hrithik still likes Saba's photos and work announcements on her Instagram handle, Reddit users are speculating about possible trouble in their relationship. When a Reddit user pointed towards the same topic on the discussion platform, a few netizens also suggested that Saba might have preferred to stay out of the media spotlight for quite some time after revealing her frustrations about losing voice-over work due to her relationship.

On July 28, 2024, Hrithik and Saba finally refuted all rumours regarding their breakup. In a video shared by a pap, they were spotted in a cosy moment. Saba even held Hrithik's hand tightly, confirming that the couple was still with one another.

A few days ago, Saba Azad took to her Instagram handle and talked about losing opportunities as a voice-over artist. She shared a picture of herself and revealed that she is back recording 'voice over' after more than two years. Saba shared a long IG note revealing that she suddenly stopped getting voice-over projects in the last two years. Thus, she once directly asked one of the directors about the matter. However, his reply left her shocked. Saba revealed that the person told her that they thought she wouldn't want to work on voice-over anymore as she was dating a successful actor like Hrithik.

Further, expressing her anger in her Instagram stories, Saba revealed that she was completely shocked to know about the director's answer, and called it regressive thinking. She mentioned that people think that a woman doesn't have to pay her bills or rent because she is in a relationship. Saba concluded:
"I still gotta put food on my table you guys. So losin a whole career because of someone's presumptuous ignorance really hurts. So again I haven't quit, all ye makers of ads."
