Bollywood actor, Imran Khan stole many hearts when he made his Bollywood debut in the movie, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na. Though his professional life took a backseat after a few of his films tanked at the box office, his personal life, too, hit rock bottom. The actor, who got married to his childhood sweetheart, Avantika Malik parted ways with her after their divorce.
After Imran and Avantika’s divorce, the duo split the custody of their daughter and take turns to look after her. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Imran spoke about not keeping a nanny for his daughter, Imara. In his words:
“I do all of the stuff for Imara without any nanny. I drive her to school myself in the morning. I pick her up. The limited amount of cooking that I can do, I do for her. I put her to bed. And that also is something that I was very conscious… rather than going off and trying to act in movies while I’m depressed. I was like, forget that. The most important thing is she should have the memory and the experience that in my childhood, my dad was the one who would drive me to school.”
