Aamir Khan's nephew, Imran Khan has witnessed a crazy fan following overnight, the moment his movie, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Naw was released in 2008. He made everyone drool over his 'soft boy' looks even before the term was invented. However, Imran Khan left the film industry after his film, Katti Baati in 2015. Recently, he confessed of hitting the lowest phase in 216, which forced him to 'fix' himself for his then newborn-daughter, Imara.
Recently, in an interview with Vogue India, Imran Khan first time talked about the reason why he left acting. He stated that he had hit a rough patch in 2016, where he felt broken from the inside. The actor stated that, luckily, he was financially stable till 30. Imran also added that he didn't feel excited to work as an actor, and was looking for motivation and found it in his daughter, Imara.

After his daughter's birth, Imran Khan decided to fix himself and be the 'healthiest' and 'strongest' version of himself for her. Imran was quoted as saying:
"I hit a low in 2016 where I felt broken inside. Luckily, I was working in an industry that had rewarded me financially, so by the time I was 30, I didn't have to worry about money. At that point, it wasn't my career because I wasn't excited by it enough to want to work hard for it. I had recently become a father and thought, ‘This is valuable. This is something I take seriously.' I wanted to be the best version of myself for Imara. I decided it was no longer my job to be an actor. Now, I had to fix myself; be at my healthiest and strongest for my daughter."
The Vogue further reported that Imran incorporated many changes in his lifestyle. He moved out of his lavish Pali Hill bungalow and shiftedton an apartment in Bandra,Mumbaii. Not only this, Imran had sold his Ferrari to live a simple life. Imran Khan believes in sustainable living, so much so that, he still proudly wears his 10-year-old suit, which he repeated for his cousin, Ira Khan's wedding.

Imran and Avantika were childhood sweethearts. After dating for a couple of years, the duo tied the knot in 2011. After three years of marital bliss, they welcomed a baby girl and named her Imara. Unfortunately, after eight years of being together, the couple parted ways in 2019. The estranged couple and their families tried their best to reunite them, but in 2022, according to a report by ETimes, Imran Khan decided not to resume his marital life with Avantika.
After divorce from his first wife, Avantika Malik in 2019, Imran found love in Lekha Washington. He made it official as he appeared with her for Ira and Nupur's registered wedding in Mumbai. Lekha arrived hand-in-hand with her beau, Imran Khan. She picked a sleeveless velvet blouse with a Banarasi skirt. She teamed it with a cape-style dupatta, which featured heavy embroidery all over it. Her look was accentuated with a matha patti and a neckpiece. On the other hand, Imran wore a tuxedo.
