Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most talented actors in the Hindi film industry. The actor made his debut back in 2007 with the movie, Saawariya, and since then, he never had to look back. It was back in 2023 when Ranbir's film, Animal broke all the records, and he has some big movies in his kitty in the coming years. Ranbir and Imtiaz Ali's collaboration, Tamasha and Rockstar are two of the much-loved movies among the cine-lovers. Rockstar was released back in 2011, and after more than a decade, the movie was re-released in the theatres. Within the span of two weeks, Rockstar earned Rs. 1.10 crore in India, bringing over more than 1 lakh cine lovers to witness this cult classic on the silver screens yet again.
Amid Rockstar's re-release in the theaters, Imtiaz Ali talked about one of the much-loving qualities in Ranbir Kapoor. In an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast, Imtiaz was asked about the qualities that define a good actor. As a reply to the same, the director mentioned that empathy is an inherent quality, and actors just don't have to feel what the other person is feeling but also have to express them equally.

Talking more about the same, Imtiaz Ali revealed that good actors have empathy and also have that kind of aura with which people can develop empathy towards them as well. He mentioned that being interested in other people is the biggest blessing that a person can achieve. Citing an example, Imtiaz shared that Ranbir Kapoor is someone who is even more interested in his fans than they are in the actor. Speaking along the same lines, Imtiaz added that Ranbir often asks his fans questions about where they come from or if they had their meal and other things. Imtiaz Ali said:
"Good actors have empathy, but they’ve got the kind of aura where they can also be seen and recognised easily; people can be empathetic towards them… Everybody has a human body, everybody has a psychology… The biggest blessing that anybody can have is to be interested in other people. I have always observed this quality in good actors. Just look how interested Ranbir Kapoor is in people. He is more interested in his fans than they are in him. He asks them, ‘Aap kahan se aa rahe ho, aapne bus pakdi thi, subha kya khaya tha. These are the boring questions that he asks people.”
Ranbir Kapoor's power-packed performance in Rockstar has its separate fanbase. In one of the songs of the same film, Kun Faaya Kun, Ranbir looked completely zoned out at a point in time, and he received a lot of credit for the same. Talking about the same, in an interview, Imtiaz stated that it was beautiful when the actor looked up. Ranbir replied that he was sitting and just singing, and the camera captured something for which he would get a lot of credit, but he does not think that he deserves that.

Just like his professional life, Ranbir's personal life has always been a topic of gossip. The actor, throughout his career, was linked to several actresses including Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. Moreover, it was back in 2022, when Ranbir got married to his ladylove and the brilliant actress, Alia Bhatt, and the duo welcomed their adorable baby girl, Raha in the same year.
