Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli had promised each other to be bound in love forever on December 11, 2017. They make us believe that marriage is about the union of two people and their families, and this simplicity had made us their fans forever.
On January 11, 2021, Virat and Anushka had completed their family by welcoming a baby girl in their lives, whom they have named, Vamika. The actress is once again in the headlines after Anushka celebrated Team India's historic win at the Lord’s against England in the 2nd Test match.

Team India captain, Virat Kohli praised his teammates and the whole coaching staff after beating Team England by 151 runs to win the 2nd Test match. It's not just a historic win, but a significant one, too, as Team India take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. Soon after the end of the match, Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram stories and shared three different posts to celebrate her husband and captain, Virat Kohli-led, Team India, for registering a historic win at the Lord's stadium. The actress wrote, "What a team! What a win!" atop her last post.

After some seconds, Virat Kohli also posted some pictures to celebrate on his IG handle to celebrate the big win with his teammates. Along with the picture, he wrote, "What a game of cricket. Everyone stepping up, love the commitment and attitude. Way to go boys" in the caption.
For the unversed, to mark International Women's Day 2021, Virat Kohli had posted an adorable selfie of his wife, Anushka Sharma, with their daughter, Vamika Sharma Kohli. Expressing his feelings on witnessing the birth of his child, Virat had captioned the mother-daughter picture as "Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them."
Going further in his caption, Virat Kohli had lauded not just his wife, Anushka Sharma but every single woman out there for showing immense courage in their lives. Virat had continued, "It's because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women's Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who's going to grow up to be like her mother. And also, a Happy Women's Day to all the amazing women of the world."

In an interaction with Times Now, Virat was asked to reveal the kind of emotions he had experienced when he was leaving for national duty during his wife's first delivery. He had said, "The two cannot be compared. To me, to become a father has been and will remain the greatest moment of my life. That is something that has to be experienced to understand what I am saying."
At the end of his conversation, Virat Kohli had also added that his team's value in his life is significant. The cricketer had asserted, no matter wherever in the world he is, the connection between him and other players in the team just keeps on growing. He had added, "The connection with the team doesn't go away in any situation, especially when you have given everything for the team, especially for the Test team for the last six years on a daily basis. Being motivated to take Test cricket on top, take Indian cricket on top, and the whole group has put in so much effort."
