Weddings are a lifetime celebration, and people wait for this special day. Most people, from the early years of their life, plan and dream about their wedding and go to extreme lengths to ensure that the D-day pan out just like how they imagined. Nitasha Patel and Krishna Gaglani had a similar vision for their wedding, where the bride even travelled from California to India just for her dream wedding dress.
Nitasha Patel is a California-based Indian, who met her now husband, Krishna Gaglani, via an online dating app. However, their initial interaction was based on a lie, but the duo worked out their differences and did not let that one lie hamper their relationship. So without further ado, let's dive into the couple's quirky love story and hatke wedding ceremony.
Nitasha Patel and Krishna Gaglani first came across each others’ profiles on the dating app wherein they swiped right for one another. But in the app Nitasha had lied about her location and instead of California she entered her base location as London. After talking to Krishna for a few days, Nitasha came clean about her lie and the former did not even mind the small white lie and the couple continued their romantic rendezvous.
After interaction over the calls and messages for four months, the duo decided to meet and Nitasha decided to pay a visit to London. Afterwards Krishna came to California and stayed there for two months. After a year of dating, Krishna went down on his knees and proposed to Nitasha on the rooftop of a restaurant.
Nitasha Patel and Krishna Gaglani had a haldi and mehendi ceremony with a modern twist. The bride wanted her wedding events to have a Bollywood touch to them, and henceforth, Indian designers specially made their outfits for all the ceremonies. Nitasha donned an ivory-hued three-piece palazzo set with car detailing for the mehendi. The blouse was beautifully encrusted with sequin details, perfectly complementing the applique palazzo and a simple cape to bring the outfit together.

Nitasha kept her glam simple with a dewy base, kohl-rimmed eyes and nude lips. She kept her tresses open and accentuated her look with diamond jewellery. On the other hand, Krishna matched his bride in a creme-hued kurta set.
Before the D-day, Nitasha, along with her mother, flew to Mumbai, India, to visit ace designer Rahul Mishra's store. After browsing through his creations, the bride opted for a custom blush pink-hued lehenga with colourful floral designs and beaded accents. The blouse had a cape detailing, which further made the outfit one-of-a-kind.
For her accessories, Nitasha opted for a seesh patti, a layered diamond necklace, earrings, and bracelets. She kept her makeup glam with shimmery eyes and glossy pink lips. Nitasha completed her look with a puffy hairstyle with a few loose locks to frame her face. Krishna, on the other hand, donned a matching sherwani from the same designer. His outfits consisted of a creme-hued kurta with floral details and a matching turban and trousers with a shawl. He completed his look with a Rolex watch and a Cartier ring.

For the day, Nitasha slipped in an ivory-hued sequin lehenga with a plunging neckline, adding perfect spice to her look. Nitasha donned a sheer sequin dupatta with fur detailing along with the lehenga. Nitasha glammed up her look with shimmery eyes, glossy lips and blush. She left her hair open in a side parting and opted for a diamond headpiece to accentuate her look.
Nitasha also donned a diamond necklace for her reception OOTD. Krishna looked dapper in a black tuxedo, which he paired with a white shirt, silk bowtie, and monogrammed cufflinks for the day.
