Influencer, Viraj Ghelani Regrets Doing Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan', Shares People On The Set Were Rude

Viraj Ghelani is among India's most famous actors, content creators, YouTubers, and influencers. The actor has made a name for himself in the hearts of millions by making comedy-related videos. He has worked in some popular series like Little Things and What The Folks. Moreover, he was also a part of the Vicky Kaushal starrer film, Govinda Naam Mera and Shah Rukh Khan starrer, Jawan. However, the actor recently talked about his not-so-pleasant experience while shooting for Jawan.

Viraj Ghelani reveals that he was mistreated on the sets of Jawan

Viraj Ghelani played the role of a cop in Shah Rukh Khan starrer, Jawan. Viraj Ghelani recently sat for a conversation with The Having Said That Show, where he was asked about his experience on working in Jawan. Viraj shared that he was mistreated on the sets, and only famous and big stars were given special treatment. Talking about his experience, Viraj said:

“Why did I do it? People are very sweet who watched the film for me that I watched your part. But it was my worst experience ever. Because see, the thing is… they don’t consider you because they have Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan and two Shah Rukh Khans and all those things. The work culture was ‘yahan khada ho ja, yeh kar le (stand here, do this)'. There was this scene where, in the close-ups, I have a gun because I am a cop, and then they go for a wide shot. Then I said that prop guy has taken my gun. They said gun will come to you, stand here. I was like, okay. But the gun never came.”

Viraj shared that he shot for over a week, but only a fraction of his scenes were included. He regrets being in the film, and he later realised that filmmakers are casting content creators only for clout. He also feels that Jawan was his worst performance. In his words:

“They were like, that. I came, and I went. I am just a blurred image in the background. I had (shot) proper dialogues. I had shot for ten days in Madh Island in the heat of May. Then suddenly, I see that whatever we had worked on for 15 days, they only used what we shot during the first 30 minutes on the first day. Creators are cast for their clout only.”

When Viraj Ghelani got engaged to his ladylove, Palak Khimavat

For the day, Viraj donned a white-coloured kurta-pyjama, which he paired with dual jackets featuring multi-coloured floral prints. Viraj's caption added a personal touch to the post:

"Roomie for life."

In the following picture, Viraj and Palak posed candidly for the camera. The lovebirds looked happy as they celebrated their union with their families, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Viraj's fiancee, Palak, looked like a fairy as she donned a matching-hued lehenga for her special day.
