Influencers, Sarthak Sachdeva and Muskan Karia recently recently dropped a video of them gatecrashing two weddings. While the duo's followers took to the comment section to gush about their unexpected collaboration, their video sparked an interesting debate on Reddit. Sarthak Sachdeva and Muskan Karia gatecrash two weddings in latest video

Social media influencers, Sarthak Sachdeva and Muskan Karia took to their Instagram handles on January 6, 2024, to drop a video of them gatecrashing two weddings. In the clip, the duo was dressed to the nines and even got a bouquet as well as a 'naughty' gift, namely handcuffs, to keep up the ruse. Sarthak and Muskan then showed up at the first wedding and entered with 'confidence.' Sarthak, in his voiceover, emphasised that when the guards saw them, they didn't even question whether they were guests or not. They then entered the hall and enjoyed the welcome drink. The aunties at the event, assuming that Sarthak and Muskan were among the guests, even applied a teeka on them.

Sarthak further narrated that they pretended to cry for the bride and groom while enjoying loads of 'free ka khana.' Eventually, they left without leaving the gift behind as they had to 'use' it for the next wedding. The next affair seemed to be much more exclusive, but Sarthak and Muskan were able to make their way in after signing their names on the guest list. According to him, it looked like an 'ameeron ka' wedding, and the food was fancy as well. A photographer even clicked pictures of the duo at the affair, but they were eventually identified as gatecrashers as their attire didn't match the rest of the guests. They were then kicked out of the wedding.

The influencers' video raises questions about whether content creators have limits

Not long after the influencers posted the video to their official accounts, it was reshared on the social media platform, Reddit. The OP raised a pointed question, pointing out that gatecrashing weddings had become a sort of trend among Gen Z influencers. They penned:

"There is a new trend amongst certain groups of influenzas - Gatecrashing. Here Muskaan and Sarthak gatecrash a wedding while that Fofani dude has made it a habit of finding unique ways to gatecrash."

For the unversed, the OP is referring to influencer, Divya Fofani, who has uploaded multiple videos of him gatecrashing different weddings. They further asked other Redditors to share their opinions on the trend and thoughtfully stated that the trend had escalated from sneaking snacks into movie theatres to gatecrashing the biggest day of someone's life. Given that, the OP wondered where content creators would finally draw the line.
