Soon after, reports about Sonakshi's wedding with Zaheer surfaced online, and a certain section of netizens started throwing hate comments. Meanwhile, it was also reported that Shatrughan Sinha was not happy with his daughter's wedding. Later, the veteran actor debunked such claims, and soon after, he was spotted with his to-be damad. The duo posed happily for the camera as they were papped out and about in the city. Now, we stumbled upon some inside glimpses of the family get-together of Sonakshi and Zaheer, ahead of their wedding, and it's all things adorable.
Taking to her IG handle fashion designer, Marzia Tyeby Bhobe dropped a series of photos from Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's family get-together. In the photos, the soon-to-be-married couple can be seen posing with their family members by flaunting their million-dollar smile. In one of the photos, Sonakshi posed with her parents, Shatrughan and Poonam. In another photo, Shatrughan can be seen posing with his damad-to-be, Zaheer, which confirmed that everything was smooth between them. For the family get-together, Sonakshi and Zaheer opted for casual OOTNs. While Sonakshi stunned in a white shirt dress, Zaheer looked handsome in a black T-shirt. The photos spoke volumes about the blast that is about to take place.

Earlier, reports stated that Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal would get married at the South Mumbai eatery, Bastian, on June 23, 2024, and the joyous ceremony will be followed by a reception party. However, as per a recent report by Filmfare, Sonakshi, and Zaheer will get married at the actress' home in Bandra, and they will tie the knot by signing papers, which is that the duo will reportedly have a registered wedding. Well, there's no confirmation about the same from the couple's sides as of now.
It was soon after Sonakshi Sinha's wedding reports started making headlines when Shatrughan Sinha was asked about the same. To this, the actor-politician revealed that he had no idea about it. The actor also added that he would dance if his daughter would get married. Moreover, what grabbed attention was when Shatrughan Sinha added that kids nowadays don't take any consent from their parents in the case of choosing their life partners and only inform their parents. He also remarked that he and his wife were waiting to get informed about their daughter's wedding, which left people wondering if the actor was upset.

Later, in an interview with Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha slammed the trollers and called them frustrated. The veteran actor said that his daughter's happiness is his happiness, and she has the right to choose her life partner. He also dismissed the reports about not attending Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding and stated that he would very much be there.
