When we talk about an epitome of beauty with brain, the first image that pops up into our head is that of Bollywood diva, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Aishwarya had made India proud by winning the prestigious title of Miss World in 1994. The grey-eyed beauty had won many hearts by her performances and Nobel causes. She had made her Bollywood debut with the movie, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya in the year 1997 and had left everyone awestruck with her powerful performance!
Aishwarya Rai was linked up with many Bollywood stars and who can forget her much-talked-about relationship with bhai of Bollywood, Salman Khan. After her failed relationship, she went ahead and added ‘Bachchan’ to her surname in the year 2007 by tying the knot with Junior B a.k.a. Abhishek Bachchan. The duo had welcomed their little angel, Aaradhya Bachchan on November 16, 2011, and their family picture got completed. Aishwarya has proven to be the perfect bahu, beti and maa and has been giving major inspiration to all the pretty ladies out there. On November 1, 2019, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had turned a year older and ringed in her birthday in Rome with her husband, Abhishek Bachchan and their daughter, Aaradhya. Aishwarya took to her Instagram and posted a family picture from an event with her ‘mine’. She shared a picture with Abhishek and Aaradhya and one solo picture of not-so-little anymore, Aaradhya and captioned it as “Mine Love.” She later shared one more family picture in which Aishwarya and Aaradhya could be seen looking at the camera and Abhishek was admiring the view. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was poured with warm birthday wishes and the most awaited wish by her doting hubby, Abhishek Bachchan has won our hearts. Abhishek had taken to his Instagram handle and shared an oh-so-gorgeous picture of Aishwarya and captioned it as “Happy birthday Principessa!!!” For the unversed, Principessa is an Italian word which means, princess. Abhishek’s caption has suited Aishwarya beautifully as in the picture, she was looking like a dreamy vision to behold in a white-coloured off-shoulder gown with minimal makeup.
Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan had first met each other on the sets of their first movie, Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke in 2000. And it was during the shooting of their next movies, Umrao Jaan and Guru, that their friendship took a beautiful turn and Abhishek had proposed to Aishwarya after the premiere of Guru and Aishwarya had accepted the proposal. In an interview with the Cosmopolitan, Abhishek had praised his wife and had stated, “She’s very down-to-earth, rooted, simple and real. She’s very beautiful, which everyone knows. But as a person, she is far more beautiful. She’s not what you’d expect her to be. You may think she’s an internationally known star and so beautiful, so she must have an attitude. But Aishwarya connects with you easily.”
Abhishek Bachchan never gets tired of praising his beautiful wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and has time and again stated that he has married the most beautiful woman on the planet. Abhishek, in an interview with film critic Anupama Chopra, had revealed if there is a ‘downside’ of marrying ‘the most beautiful woman’ and had stated, “That's not the basis of my relationship with Aishwarya. It's not about - you're hot and let's get married. It's not that. I married her for the human being that she is, not because she is the most successful actor we have or she is the international face of the Indian cinema because she is one of the most beautiful women. No, it's not. At the end of the day, when you come back home from a hard day at work, you go to bed and you have to face certain realities about how the person is like. These faces that we have come off at night without makeup. I married her for that person."
