No wonder everyone is relaxed hearing this from Vivaan Shah because the magnitude of those false reports were incredibly high and were all over the internet. To make fans believe about the good health of Naseeruddin Shah, the niece of Naseer sahib, Saira Shah Halim had talked to IANS and told them that “He's fine and is observing lockdown with my aunt Ratna in Mumbai, it is fake news.” Well, there’s no doubt that Naseeruddin Shah is one of the greatest actors of Bollywood industry and even a little news about his sick health is going to make the whole nation go down in depression, like the one we had witnessed in the past two days.
Talking about Naseeruddin Shah’s personal life, he and his wife, Ratna Pathak Shah are two maestros of theatre and Bollywood. Their chemistry and charm is evergreen but what makes them a power couple is their liberal thoughts and contribution to the art of cinema. For the uninitiated, when Naseeruddin Shah was barely 19 years old, had fallen in love with Purveen, a Pakistani medical student who was studying at Aligarh Muslim University. The couple had gotten married on November 1, 1969, and after 10 months of their wedding, they welcomed their daughter, Heeba. The couple soon faced a lot of differences and decided to separate. After which, in 1975, Naseer met Ratna Pathak for the first time. The actress was a college student back then and he was an FTII graduate. And after a long dating and live-in period together, the couple had decided to tie the knot on April 1, 1982, and had a registered wedding at Ratna’s mother’s home.
