The whole nation had gone into a state of utter disbelief and shock on the morning of April 29, 2020, when Angrezi Medium actor, Irrfan Khan had taken his last breath in Mumbai and had left us all without taking a moment to say goodbye. No words can ease the pain of the loss of such a great artist. It was on April 28, 2020, when Irrfan was admitted at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for colon infection and had passed away the very next morning. The news of his sudden demise had saddened the whole nation. Since then, his fans and family are sharing pictures of him to ease the pain of his loss. On July 13, 2020, late Bollywood actor, Irrfan Khan's wife, Sutapa Sikdar took to her Instagram handle and posted a beautiful picture of the famous plant, 'raat ki raani' in her balcony. The doting wife and actress revealed that the smell of this plant reminds her of him every night. Along with the beautiful picture of the plant, Sutapa Sikdar wrote a few lines to express her emotions a little bit more, and it can be read as "#rahennarahenhummehkakarenge #kaminiin our balcony..yaad tumhari Aati rahi raat bhar yeh khushbsoo mehkati rahi raat bhar." There's no doubt that Sutapa Sikdar's beautiful anecdotes make us believe that Irrfan Khan is still with us. For instance, on June 4, 2020, Sutapa had taken to her Facebook account and had posted a couple of throwback pictures of her late husband, Irrfan Khan. Alongside it, she had written an emotional note that could be read as "Thank you soooo much I hear you ...yes I know it's from you to me and it touched my body and soul.. A day after Irrfan's death, on April 30, 2020, the actor's wife, Sutapa Sikdar, had penned her last goodbyes for the great actor. She had shared an unseen picture with Irrfan, wherein she could be seen hugging him. She had posted the image as her profile picture on her various social media handles. Along with it, she had written, "I have not lost I have gained in every which way." Indeed, a beautiful way to bid farewell to the love of her life.

On July 10, 2020, the doting wife had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted three beautiful pictures. The first picture was of her late husband, Irrfan Khan from his younger days, the second one was a lovely picture of Teesta river in North Bengal, and the last one was an adorable picture of Sutapa with her son, Babil. Along with these pictures, Sutapa had written a caption, in which, she had revealed that she wishes if she could visit this place and enjoy the scenic beauty all over again with her late husband, Irrfan and son, Babil. Her caption could be read as "Its one of those days #nostalgia #northbengal. I wish I lived near a river #childhood memories of North Bengal. Wild moist fragrant during rains.
