When you hear the news of your favourite celebrity getting married, at most times, you develop a personal connect to it. Prepare yourself for the big fat wedding of the year i.e. of Ambanis’ ki laadli beti, Isha Ambani. The beautiful and gorgeous billionaire is all set to say ‘I do’ to her fiancé, Anand Piramal on December 12, 2018. After the star-studded lavish engagement ceremony on September 22, 2018, at Lake Como, Italy, Isha and Anand will enter the holy bond of matrimony at Ambani’s residence, Antilia. After Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone, looks like Isha Ambani too will be a ‘Sabyasachi bride’. Sabyasachi Mukherjee has been giving major wedding goals to would-be brides with his ethereal ethnic ensembles. Now a few weeks ahead of the wedding, Sabyasachi gave a sneak peek of the to-be bride, Isha Ambani’s look for the Graha Shanti puja. Isha’s sartorial choice for this ritual was as extra as we had expected.
The bride-to-be, Isha chose to wear a hand-painted, hand-embroidered, tilla-work lehenga with a Bandhej dupatta i.e. in other words, a royal custom Sabyasachi lehenga for the religious occasion. Sabyasachi shared pictures of Isha on his Instagram handle and described her look in the caption which could be read as, “Isha Ambani @_iiishmagish for her Graha Shanti Pooja in a custom hand-painted, hand-embroidered tilla-work lehenga and antique bandhej dupatta. The outfit is a part of the India Revival Project by Sabyasachi.”

Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s pre-wedding festivities kickstarted with a dandiya night which took place a few days ago. The mother of the bride, Nita Ambani and the to-be bride herself, Isha were twinning in traditional Gujarati outfits with mirror and threadwork. Nita Ambani’s Chaniya Choli and Isha’s hand-embroidered floral lehenga was designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

In October, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani visited the Siddhivinayak Temple along with their youngest son, Anant Ambani and the head of the family, Kokilaben Ambani. Following their tradition of starting something auspicious with the blessings of God, the Ambani family went to the temple to offer their prayers and present the first wedding invitation card of their daughter, Isha Ambani.
Then on October 30, 2018, Ambanis and Piramals released an official statement pertaining to Isha and Anand’s upcoming wedding, which could be read as, “We are delighted to share that the marriage of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal will take place in the residence of Shri Mukesh Ambani and Smt. Nita Ambani in Mumbai with family members and close friends on 12th December, 2018. The ceremonies will be performed in accordance with Indian traditions, customs and culture.”
The statement could be further stated, “During the weekend prior to the wedding, the Ambani and Piramal families will host their friends and family in Udaipur, where they are partnering with artisans and craftsmen to integrate local culture and traditions into the festivities. Both families seek the blessings and good wishes of everyone for Isha and Anand as they start their journey of togetherness. Nita and Mukesh Ambani Swati and Ajay Piramal.”
And now, Mukesh Ambani took a day off from the wedding preparations and work to seek blessings for his beti and hone-wala-damaad. According to the reports, Mukesh Ambani along with his youngest son, Anant Ambani went to Sri Venkateswara Temple, Tirupati, Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh. After seeking blessings and placing the invitation at the deity's feet, the father-son duo travelled to the Guruvayoor temple in Kerala via his private chopper.
And they finally ended the day after seeking blessings for the soon-to-be-married couple at the Sri Ramanathaswamy temple in Tamil Nadu's Rameshwaram area. According to the Economic Times report, Mukesh Ambani donated Rs 55,000 to each temple. Earlier, the Ambanis had also done a trek to the holy shrines at the Kedarnath-Badrinath temples, where they had made an offering as well.
