Remember in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... when Poo said, “If I remember right, parso ke din bhi yehi pehena tha na tumne?” Somewhere deep inside, every girl fears the fashion police we are surrounded with and despite suffering from the ‘nothing to wear’ syndrome, we dread repeating the same outfit. And when it comes to Bollywood celebrities, it is an unsaid rule in the book of fashion that they cannot repeat their outfits. But some celebrities dare to break this unwritten rule and we loved them even more for it! Isha Ambani Piramal too, stole our heart at Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra’s star-studded wedding on February 3, 2020. It was on February 3, 2020, when the Kapoors and Jains came together to bring Armaan Jain’s dulhaniya, Anissa Malhotra home. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Samaira Kapur and baby Taimur Ali Khan grooved to the beats of dhol for Armaan’s baraat. The groom, Armaan looked dapper in an all-white sherwani which he had paired with matching moccasins. And his bride, Anissa stole our hearts in an embellished red lehenga teamed up with matching jewellery.
Isha Ambani Piramal made an entry at Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra’s wedding with her mother, Nita Ambani. While Nita ji looked graceful in a cream and golden coloured saree, Isha repeated her outfit from one of the wedding festivities of her cousin, Arjun Kothari for #Anissamaangayi wedding. Isha looked beautiful in a Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla soft-pink lilac-coloured lehenga with finely embroidered floral prints and a short jacket blouse with floral corsages. Isha amazingly pulled off a plain dupatta with her ensemble.

Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta too, had made a hand-in-hand entry at Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra’s wedding. The Ambani bahu opted for a Sabyasachi creation, a multi-coloured lehenga which she accentuated with a kundan and emerald choker neckpiece, matching kundan earrings and a maang teeka. Complementing his wife, Shloka, Akash looked suave in a black suit. The lovebirds posed for smiling pictures for the shutterbugs at the wedding. It isn’t the first time that we have noticed a member of the Ambani clan repeating their outfit for an occasion. For the sangeet ceremony of Arjun Kothari, which was hosted by the Ambanis at NSCI, Worli, Radhika Merchant had turned heads in her traditional best. Radhika shone like a star in a Manish Malhotra lehenga, which she had accentuated with diamond jewellery and her hair tied in a ponytail. What we couldn't help but notice then was, how beautifully Radhika had repeated her lehenga, which she had worn at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's pre-wedding bash, with different jewellery.
In an interview with the Vogue, Isha Ambani Piramal had thrown some light on her fashion preferences and was quoted as saying, "At work, I love wearing Indian clothes... cotton kurtas with block prints. I think it's one of the greatest things about being Indian—our clothes! I used to hate dressing up in business formals during my time in America. It was a nightmare to get into a blazer. It works well for slim bodies, but how do you wear a pencil skirt if you have a curvy body?" Revealing her favourite designers, Isha had continued, "Off work, I like wearing international and Indian designers—Valentino, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Dolce & Gabbana, Manish Malhotra, Celine and Sabyasachi are some of my favourites. I love when a garment fits just right, and that's not easy. For my comfort picks, I switch between my salwar kameez, Lululemon sweats and cosy sweaters."
Speaking of Isha Ambani Piramal’s sartorial choices, it reminds us of her wedding lehenga, and it cannot end the article before giving you a flashback of how beautiful she had looked. The billionaire heiress, Isha had chosen celebrity designer duo, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and had gracefully flaunted her mother, Nita's 35-year-old red wedding saree, as her dupatta with her main ivory lehenga. It was on December 12, 2018, when Isha had added a ‘Piramal’ to her surname when she got married to Anand Piramal. Revealing details about her wedding outfit, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla had described, “AN ETERNAL ROMANCE: Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for Isha Ambani @_iiishmagish Isha Ambani wore a 16-panelled ghagra in 2 shades of off-white that features a trail. Each panel is hand embroidered. Mughal Jaalis and floral panels alternate in the finest zardozi, vasli, mukaish and nakshi work. Every flower or jaali is highlighted with Crystals and sequins. Red or vermilion the iconic bridal hue features in the zardozi borders, lending an auspiciousness to the ensemble.” (Also Read: Anurag Sharma's Newly Wedded Wife, Nandini Gupta Falls After The Couple Dance On Their Wedding Day)
