Hello bridesmaids! Since your bestie/cousin’s wedding is near, we know that the ‘what to wear’ struggle is really hard. Just how excited you are for the functions, you are equally nervous as you cannot decide on what to wear. It is very important for a bridesmaid to match up to the charm of being in the spotlight with her bestie/cousin, and at the same time, not outshine her. We often refer to B-town divas, when it comes to taking inspirations and this time, we have a style icon from the business world who has always stunned us with her ethnic fashion sense. Guessing who she is? It is nobody else, but this gorgeous face, Isha Ambani Piramal. (Also Read: Mohena Kumari Singh Aces Her Rajputi Poshak At A Wedding And Is No Less Than A Sight To Behold)
By carving a niche for herself in the business and being ranked second on Forbes' 'Youngest Billionaire Heiresses' list in 2008, Isha Ambani Piramal is a name that comes as an inspiration for millions of girls out there. Not only on the professional front, but Isha is also a major inspiration when it comes to her fashion sense as she has been impressing us with her sheer elegance and grace, and we are often left floored by her ‘oh-so-gorgeous’ fashion statements, be it traditional or western.
While scrolling through the social media, we stumbled upon some unseen pictures of Isha Ambani Piramal acing her ethnic look from her friend’s wedding. In one picture, Isha could be seen carrying a heavily embroidered lehenga, which she had paired with a diamond set of necklace and earrings, maang teeka and bangles. In the picture, Isha shares a hearty laugh with her friend as they both held each other’s hands. In another picture, Isha could be seen donning a beige-coloured lehenga, which she carried off with a long full-sleeved jacket. For this function, Isha kept her hair tied in a ponytail and accentuated her look with a necklace and earrings.
Sometime back, the Ambani clan was busy with the wedding of Arjun Kothari, son of Chennai-based Nina Kothari (sister of Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani). For the same, Isha Ambani Piramal’s pictures had gone viral on the internet and she had stunned us with her every look. For one of the pre-wedding functions, Isha had donned an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation, which is one of her prettiest lehengas we’ve ever seen. Isha had dazzled in a soft-pink lilac-coloured lehenga with finely embroidered floral prints and a matching choli. Isha had amazingly pulled off a plain dupatta with her ensemble. Her look was accentuated with a diamond choker, bangles and a statement ring. For the makeup, Isha had opted for a dewy sheen, glossy lips and highlighted cheeks. With the wedding season going on, it is Isha Ambani Piramal’s saree/lehenga looks that we look upto for inspiration. A few days back, designer duo, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s Instagram page had contained ethereal pictures of Isha, dressed in a lacy, lilac saree, with her hair left loose, minimal diamond jewellery. Her exquisite diamond kamarbandh was a complete show-stealer. Isha’s pictures were captioned as “The Ethereal Isha Ambani Piramal in a custom hand-embroidered French lace sari by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.” What looked like from her get-up and pictures, Isha had decked-up for her cousin, Arjun Kothari’s yet another pre-wedding bash.
For another pre-wedding bash, Isha Ambani Piramal had donned a silver, shimmery, colourful floral lehenga. While her choli’s strap was made with fabric flowers, it was just the diamond studs with no jewellery that had made Isha’s lehenga and look a complete head-turner! Designer duo, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla had shared mesmerising pictures of Isha and had captioned it as “The earth laughs in flowers." - Ralph Waldo Emerson. In an interview with the Vogue, Isha Ambani Piramal had spoken about her fashion preferences and was quoted as saying, "At work, I love wearing Indian clothes... cotton kurtas with block prints. I think it's one of the greatest things about being Indian—our clothes! I used to hate dressing up in business formals during my time in America. It was a nightmare to get into a blazer. It works well for slim bodies, but how do you wear a pencil skirt if you have a curvy body?" Revealing her favourite designers, Isha had continued, "Off work, I like wearing international and Indian designers—Valentino, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Dolce & Gabbana, Manish Malhotra, Celine and Sabyasachi are some of my favourites. I love when a garment fits just right, and that's not easy. For my comfort picks, I switch between my salwar kameez, Lululemon sweats and cosy sweaters."
