The parents wait for their child to say maa and papa to them as it fills their heart with joy. It is a feeling of pride for every parent to watch their child grow and chant maa and papa all day long. While there would be many variants to these two words, yet the feeling of hearing any of these words holds same universally. Sania Mirza and her son, Izhaan Mirza Malik were living separately with Shoaib Malik thanks to the pandemic. The family is finally going to reunite and Sania and Shoaib’s son, Izhaan is super-excited to meet his baba. Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik had said qubool hai to each other on April 12, 2010. On October 30, 2018, the couple had welcomed their baby boy, Izhaan, and since then, the lives of amma, Sania and abba, Shoaib has taken a 360-degree turn as everything is now about their little munchkin. Izhaan has become the lifeline of Mirza-Malik family and already has thousands of fans, who wait for his single glimpse. In 2019, Sania had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a mesmerising black and white picture of herself with son, Izhaan, where they were both gazing at the camera. Posting the picture, Sania had written, “My boy. Thank you @avigowariker for capturing the most beautiful picture. Now you have become my forever and ever favourite #PostPackupshot.”
As the pandemic had separated the Mirza-Malik family, now, the family is ready to reunite tomorrow. Taking to her IG stories, Sania shared a cutesy video of her son, Izhaan Mirza Malik where mommy, Sania can be seen asking Izhaan, “Where have we come?” To which, Izhaan replied, “Dubai”. When asked, “Who are we gonna meet tomorrow?”, Izhaan, who was excited roaming in the room said, “Baba” when probed by his mother. Sania Mirza is enjoying motherhood and is loving every moment of it. On August 21, 2020, Sania has taken to her IG handle and had shared a lovely video of Izhaan. In the video, she had shared a glimpse of the first Hyderabadi word spoken by Izhaan. Izhaan had looked adorable as he had said the word ‘nakko’ which meant ‘no’ to his mommy. Along with the video, Sania had written, “His first Hyderabadi word #Nakko.”
On August 1, 2020, Sania Mirza had taken to her Instagram handle to wish everyone on the occasion of Eid by sharing a picture with her son, Izhaan. In the picture, we could see Izhaan in the arms of his mommy, Sania as she had smiled for the camera. However, it was Izhaan’s pose that had taken away the limelight. He could be seen smiling, flaunting his bunny teeth and waving while looking somewhere else. Sharing the picture, Sania had written, “Eid Mubarak from us to you.” The same caption was posted on Izhaan’s official IG handle as well but the mommy-son picture was a bit different as in this picture, Izhaan was looking in the camera, smiling while his mommy, Sania was lovingly looking at him. In an interview with the Pinkvilla, Sania Mirza had revealed how her husband, Shoaib Malik helps her in babysitting their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik. Replying to, “How has Shoaib been helping you with babysitting?” Sania had retorted, “A lot has changed after becoming a mother, your life changes, I think the whole focus becomes about the baby and prioritising the baby. Me as a working woman, I obviously want to get back to tennis, so I am trying to prioritise my time. It is the most selfless kind of love I have ever known, and it is the most amazing feeling I have ever had. My life has completely changed for the better.
