A father portrays an image of a strict dad initially and later when his kids get older and enter their teenage, he becomes soft and protects them from the scolding of their mother. A son looks up to his father in every sense, he tries to understand the world through his eyes and a father also teaches his son, the real meaning of the world through his experience. Be it a professional understanding of something or some advice on a personal matter, a son knows that he can reach out to his dad for everything and anything. There are many ways in which we can describe the relationship of a father with his son but to define their bonding is difficult as they share an unsaid bond which can’t be explained in words. When the world was against her and criticised her for tying the knot with Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik, Sania Mirza had listened to her heart and had never shied away from expressing her love for him. And after tying the knot, the duo had welcomed a little wonder boy in their lives on October 30, 2018, and defecting all the stereotypes named him Izhaan Mirza Malik (included both surnames). Shoaib had taken to his Twitter and had announced the news and had written, “Excited to announce: It’s a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled #BabyMirzaMalik” and in his second tweet, he had revealed the name of their baby, “Thank you from the bottom of our heart to everyone for the wishes from Sania and I, and our families. Our son’s name is Izhaan #BabyMirzaMalik.”
Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik are in a long-distance marriage and sometimes it becomes difficult for them to be available for their little munchkin all the time. But whenever they get time, they make sure to share the glimpses of their happy times with their fans and followers. On February 5, 2020, Sania took to her Instagram handle and shared a black and white picture of her little wonder, Izhaan with his daddy dearest, Shoaib Malik walking hand-in-hand.
Sania Mirza loves sharing pictures and videos of her little munchkin, Izhaan Mirza Malik and makes our day merrier. Just after 5 days of Izhaan’s birth, Sania had posted a picture of Izhaan watching a cricket match played by his daddy, Shoaib. She had captioned the picture as “So it’s been 5 days since we came into this world. Me as a mother and my little Izhaan as my son. Sania Mirza had further written, “I finally have gotten sometime after this overwhelming feeling to get online and check the messages and love we have received. Shoaib and I feel truly blessed and humbled with the wishes and love that us as parents and Izhaan have received. Thank you to each and every one of you ..we love you right back! Love Sania, Shoaib and Izhaan @realshoaibmalik #Allhamdulillah.”
The first time, Shoaib Malik and his star wife, Sania Mirza had announced the news of their pregnancy in their own unique way, we all were curious about the baby’s surname, which comprised of both of the parents' surname, ‘Mirza Malik’. Speaking about the same in a 2018 interview with the Gulf News, the star cricketer was quoted as saying, “We discussed this in the beginning and we both came up with it together. It’s not a move, but a statement. My family history and my family name comes with a lot of honour, which I celebrate with pride. It should be the same for Sania. Being a husband or a wife or a mother or a father should not change that for either. Having a shared surname is in line with how we went about when we got married: Sania Mirza remained Sania Mirza and was not changed to Sania Malik.”
In an interview with the Pinkvilla, Sania Mirza had talked in detail about coping up with the new phase of their lives and how her husband, Shoaib Malik helps her with the babysitting. When asked, “You recently embraced motherhood and were a force to reckon with. Has anything changed after that? How has Shoaib been helping you with babysitting?” Sania had replied, “A lot has changed after becoming a mother, your life changes, I think the whole focus becomes about the baby and prioritising the baby. Me as a working woman, I obviously want to get back to tennis, so I am trying to prioritise my time. It is the most selfless kind of love I have ever known, and it is the most amazing feeling I have ever had. My life has completely changed for the better. Ya, Shoaib is also playing quite a lot and is travelling so he does help whenever he can.” (Must Read: Armaan Jain's Wife, Anissa Looks Like A Princess On Her Wedding Reception, Flaunts Her Red Chooda)
