Janhvi Kapoor is one of the finest actresses in Tinseltown, among her generation. Daughter of eminent filmmaker, Boney Kapoor and superhit actress, Sridevi, Janhvi has carved her own niche in the world of cinema and etched an irreplaceable position in it. She made her debut with the film, Dhadak and has not looked back on her professional career ever since. However, she is always targeted with the pressure of living upto the legacy of her mom and iconic diva, Sridevi, which she always deems at the highest pedestal. However, it was her recent fan interaction on the same lines that left her super emotional.
Recently, a fan page of Janhvi Kapoor dropped a stunning video that captured various stills from the actress’ recently-released film, Bawaal. However, what caught everyone’s eyes was that the video simultaneously spotted similarities between the emotions expressed by Janhvi in her film vis-à-vis some similar emotions and expressions portrayed by Janhvi’s mom, Sridevi in her last film, English Vinglish. Along with it, the fan page added a beautiful caption using the names of the mommy-daughter duo’s reel name in their respective films, that can be read as:

“Nisha and Shashi shall be protected at all costs.”

Well, Janhvi Kapoor too took note of the special video dedicated to her and her mom by the fan page. Taking to the comment section of the post, Janhvi expressed her heartfelt emotions and thanked the fan for making such a beautiful memory that captures her and her mother as well. Revealing how it made her cry, Janhvi wrote:
“Not going to lie, this made me cry. love you guys so much for having my back always and giving me the support and love to keep trying to make my mumma proud.”
During one of her promotional interviews for her then-released film, Mili, Janhvi was asked by a reporter about her views on ever acting in her mother, Sridevi’s biopic, if it were to be made. To this, the star-daughter promptly replied that she would never do so, since she does not want to cry on-stage.

Earlier, in an interview with Barkha Dutt, Janhvi had spoken about the way in she dealt with the loss of her mother. She revealed that she thought after all the privileges, she deserved something bad, and so her mother’s death gave her a weird sense of relief. In her words:
“When I lost mom, of course, there was this huge tragedy, there was a hole in my heart. But there was this horrible feeling of ‘something bad has happened’ to justify all the great things in my life and all the privileges and the things that I got easily which I heard my entire life. I thought ‘Ok now something bad has happened. I deserve this. I deserve this horrible thing that has happened to me. It was a weird sense of relief."
