The Kapoor sisters have been grabbing the headlines from quite some time now, not only for their professional domain but also for personal reasons. No, we aren’t talking about Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor. We're not even talking about Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Rhea Kapoor. We are talking about younger Kapoor sibling duo, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, who have made it to the headlines for their camaraderie and their Bollywood debuts. While Janhvi Kapoor made her big Bollywood debut with Dharma Productions', Dhadak, there are speculations every now and then regarding the Bollywood debut of Khushi Kapoor. There have been talks about Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s younger daughter, Khushi making her debut with Javed Jaffrey’s son, Mizaan Jaffrey, and following her sister, Janhvi’s footsteps, she’ll too be launched by Karan Johar. Karan, who has been the Godfather to several star-kids including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, is speculated to launch Khushi in 2019.
On Anaita Shroff Adajania’s chat show, Feet Up with the Stars, Janhvi Kapoor talked about her sister, Khushi Kapoor and the bond they share. Before talking about their camaraderie, Janhvi confirmed that Khushi will be joining New York Film Academy as she has finalised to have a career in acting. After mulling over a modelling career for some time now, Khushi will figure out what she wants to do next.
Janhvi Kapoor had shared, “She is going to NYFA. Then after she comes back, she will figure what she wants to do.” However, Janhvi and their papa, Boney Kapoor are a bit wary of Khushi Kapoor’s decision, “I’m getting palpitations just thinking about Khushi going to... He (Boney) just has to think about it and he’ll start crying.”
Speaking in length about their sisterhood, Janhvi Kapoor revealed what do they fight about. The Dhadak of the nation said, “We share our clothes, but we have this thing that if you steal without telling, then it’s a thing. At this point, I don’t care. She still like... She’s very righteous, so she is like, ‘You cannot take something without asking.’ She feels like she needs to inculcate manners in me. So that’s where it’s coming from.” (Also Read: Neha Kakkar-Sonu Kakkar Post Heartfelt Birthday Wishes For Their 'Best Brother In World' Tony Kakkar)

Janhvi Kapoor also commented on the show that she doesn’t mind repeating her outfits as that's something which becomes the talk of the town instantly. Janhvi stated, "Itna bhi paisa nahi kamaya ki har roz naye kapde! (I haven’t earned so much money that I can wear a new dress every day)" She also spoke about remaining unaffected by the trolls, "You can't please everyone. Especially with this. I guess you would take their criticism seriously if it was to do with your work and then work on that. But how I look outside the gym isn't really my job."
Narrating an incident of an endearing mother-daughter relationship shared with her late mother, Sridevi, Janhvi Kapoor had said on the show, “This was a little after I told my mom I wanted to act. We had an argument about something. And I started crying a lot. And she was trying to explain something to me. I was really crying and she looked at me and said - “You look good when you cry. It’s good for an actor. I feel bad for you already”. And I was like, mom, you really need to feel bad for me now. Not just from an actor’s point of view.”
In an interview a few months back, when Janhvi Kapoor was asked if her younger sister plans to enter Bollywood, the Dhadak debutante replied, “That's for her to answer.” Before Sridevi’s demise, she was also asked about her younger daughter’s debut, to which she had then replied, “Yes, Khushi says she wants to get into modelling. Pehle, she wanted to become a doctor. Phir doctor se lawyer and now it's modelling. So, I am waiting for the shock to happen.”
Later Boney Kapoor, in an interview, talked about the change in Khushi’s career plans and her decision to enter the Hindi film industry. He had said, “I wouldn't say that I motivated Janhvi. I encouraged her to let her do what she wants. Why curb someone's natural instincts? Like for one, I didn't know until Salman (Khan) told me that Arjun has it in him to become an actor. On the other hand, my eldest child, Anshula is extremely academically inclined. And Khushi first wanted to become a model - but has now shifted her focus to becoming an actress.” (Also Read: Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya Gives Major 'Bahu Goals' As She Chills With Hubby, Vivek Dahiya And In-Laws)
