Janhvi Kapoor, the eldest daughter of late veteran actress, Sridevi and Bollywood's popular producer, Boney Kapoor, followed in her family's footsteps and entered Bollywood. Within a short span of her career, Janhvi has already made a mark for herself and created a niche among her audience. She is one of the most famous star kids, who enjoys a massive fanbase.
Janhvi Kapoor had made her Bollywood debut with the film, Dhadak starring Ishaan Khatter. Now, the actress is neck-deep busy promoting her upcoming film, Good Luck Jerry, where she plays the character of a girl who gets into drug dealing to earn money for her family. However, apart from her acting career, sartorial picks, and sultry looks, Janhvi has always been a mamma's girl. It was in 2018 when Sridevi passed away, leaving her daughters, Janhvi and Khushi and her huge fandom behind.

During the promotions of Good Luck Jerry, in one of the media interactions with Prabhat Khabar, the actress was asked what ritual she follows before her every film. To this, Janhvi responded that she visits Tirupati, recalling how her mother would go there on her birthdays. The doting daughter said:
"I take the script of each of my film to Tirupati. When she worked, mom used to visit the temple on her birthday every year. But, that stopped after her marriage. An inner voice told me to visit the temple on her birthday and I started going there on her birthdays. Now, the new year has also been added to that list."
Janhvi Kapoor was very close to her mother, Sridevi. After Sridevi's demise, it was on October 6, 2021, that Janhvi had shared a series of happy pictures on her Instagram handle. However, in one of the photos, we could get a glimpse of a tattoo that Janhvi did on her arm which featured a note in her mother's handwriting. It could be read as:
"I love you my labbu."

Janhvi often gets compared to her mother, Sridevi. But once in a media interaction, the doting daughter had mentioned that it is not possible for anyone, let alone her, to be like the legendary actress and her mother, Sridevi. However, she further added that her intention of working in films with more hard work and dedication is the same as taught by her mom.
On the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor is currently shooting for her next film, Bawaal with Varun Dhawan.
