Janhvi Kapoor is carrying forward her late mother, Sridevi's legacy not only on screen, but also in terms of the actress' personal and spiritual beliefs and traditions. On her mother's 61st birthday, on August 13, 2024, Janhvi, just like every year, visited Tirupati temple on Sridevi's birth anniversary. Her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, accompanied her on the yearly temple visit and it was all things cutesy.
Before Sridevi's untimely death in 2018, she frequently visited Tirupati temple on special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. After her passing, her eldest daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, continued her legacy and visited the holy shrine on her mother's every birthday. This year, too, she did the same with her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya. The businessman donned a traditional South Indian attire as he wholeheartedly stood by his ladylove.

Janhvi Kapoor's choice of attire for the day was a striking yellow-hued kanjivaram saree with a golden-green border. The Ulajh actress paired her six yards with a green blouse featuring intricate golden work. Her temple jewellery, including a necklace, earrings, and a waist chain, added a touch of elegance to her OOTD. Janhvi's beauty game was on point with minimal makeup, subtle eyeshadow, a nude lip shade, a dazzling highlighter, perfect brows, blushed cheeks, and a sharp contour, all enhancing her ethnic vibe. Her hair tied in a bun completed her traditional avatar.
Janhvi Kapoor has made a name for herself as a fashion icon, and the diva never shies away from experimenting with her look. For the shrine visit, she opted for traditional temple jewellery, which is a big thing in the South. She donned a gold necklace with matching earrings. However, the highlight of her look was her exquisite kamarbandh, which had intricate detailing on it with pearl beads.
