In a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Jasmin Bhasin turned teary-eyed as she spoke about her best friend and late actor, Sidharth Shukla. The diva revealed that she was in Kashmir when she got to know about the shocking news, as people whispered and murmured about it in the airport. Expressing how she remained numb in pain for many days, Jasmin said:

“The news came out, it was shocking. I was in Kashmir. I didn't have internet or cellular network. I was at the airport and people were murmuring about his demise. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. But the moment I landed in Mumbai, I became numb. I was numb for many days. He was gone.”

Jasmin talks about staying on with the regret of not speaking with Sidharth one last time

Continuing with her revelations, Jasmin shared that Sidharth Shukla’s demise left her with the biggest learning of her life, that how nothing is permanent. While she couldn’t accept the fact that the actor had gone, Jasmin still felt that she could have spoken to him one last time, a regret that would stay with her forever. In her words:

“I couldn't accept the fact that he was actually gone. His death taught me the biggest lesson of life, that nothing is permanent. Toh waqt rehte sare gile shikwe door kar lene chahiye kyunki waqt ka kuch pata nahin. The person is gone but you live with the pain and regret that kash baat karliya hota.”

Towards the concluding segment of the interview, Jasmin Bhasin spoke about the kind of informal equation she shared with the late actor. The diva revealed that Sidharth used to motivate her a lot and was undoubtedly her best friend on the sets. From eating together to heading out together after their pack-up, Jasmin tagged it as a complete circle of their friendship. She added:

“He was my best friend on the set. We would eat together; we would go out together after the pack-up. It was a beautiful time. It was a full circle of friendship as we had our own share of misunderstandings and some incidents. But I have always respected him for the man he was, especially to women.”
