In an interview with the Indian Express, Jasprit Bumrah was asked about Hardik Pandya's situation. The pacer revealed that the team doesn't promote the fact that one has to take it on the chin, and instead, they all were by Hardik's side. Bumrah shared that certain things are beyond control, and what happened just happened. He also added that the situation changed as soon as India won the World Cup trophy. "That’s where the inner circle comes in. We, as a team, don’t encourage that, we don’t promote that. We don’t think that’s warranted. We were with him, talking to him, if he needed support. Certain things are beyond your control. If it happened, it happened. The narrative just changed, when we won the World Cup. This is part of the journey. It’s us against the world. We will try to give as much support as we can."

There's no denying the fact that where there is darkness, the light follows, and the same thing happened in Hardik Pandya's case as well. Back during IPL 2024, several videos surfaced showing fans throwing bottles and shoes after seeing Hardik losing matches against the opposite teams. He was booed in the stadium, and his comment sections were filled with mockery.
