Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan are one of the most hard-working actors of all time. While Amitabh continues to work and host the quiz reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, his wife, Jaya Bachchan, was last seen in Karan Johar's film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and is an active member of Parliament. Recently, Jaya Bachchan declared her and her husband, Amitabh Bachchan's net worth in an election affidavit.
According to a report in Business Today, Jaya Bachchan has declared her personal net worth as Rs. 1.63 crores for 2022-2023. The report further revealed Amitabh Bachchan's net worth, which is Rs. 273.74 crores. The affidavit further revealed that Jaya's bank balance is Rs. 10.11 crores. On the other hand, Amitabh has around Rs. 120.45 crores. It also started that their combined movable property is valued at Rs. 849.11 crores and immovable property amounting to Rs. 729.77 crores.

While Amitabh Bachchan has several properties in Mumbai, his first home, Pratiksha, remains close to his heart. Last year, he made a significant move by gifting his first-ever home, Pratiksha, to his daughter, Shweta Bachchan. According to a report first published by the Economic Times, the transfer of ownership was formalised through two distinct gift deeds, each corresponding to a specific plot on which the bungalow stands.
Amitabh Bachchan and his wife, Jaya Bachchan, transferred ownership of their bungalow, which spread over a total of 16,840 sq feet, on November 8, 2023, and it was registered the next day. The report further stated that the Bachchan family had paid a total stamp duty worth Rs. 50.65 lakhs for the gift deed. They also revealed the market value of the bungalow, which is over Rs. 50.63 crores.
