Navya Naveli Nanda's podcast, What The Hell Navya, featured the unfiltered versions of her grandmother, Jaya Bachchan and her mother, Shweta Bachchan. The three women of the Bachchan family have been in discussions about life, beauty, men, failures and whatnot on the podcast, giving a lot of lessons to the newer generation. During the show, Jaya Bachchan first time talked about her husband, Amitabh Bachchan's lowest phase and how, as a wife, she helped him through it.
In the latest episode of Navya's podcast, the three ladies discussed failures and how society can be harsh when a man fails. When Navya asked Jaya how she dealt with Amitabh's low phase, Navya asked, "For example, when Nana wasn't going through a time when he was, you know. How you deal with it?" Jaya responded that they had seen different kinds of failures.

Jaya Bachcahn further added that they together went through it. However, she doesn't know whether she did the right thing, but she silently stayed with Amitabh, instead of constantly nudging. She was quoted as saying:
"I don't know whether I did the right thing or wrong but it's also nice when a man is going through this phase, is just to be there and be quiet. Instead of weee-wee (gibberish) it is annoying. If they want your help if they need it they will."
However, Shweta didn't agree with her and stated that she would want to be actively there and support the other person. She added that she is a problem-solver and would instantly want to solve it and proactively come up with a solution.

Amitabh Bachchan has seen the toughest times in his life, and he stood like a rock and always bounced back. No matter whether he was hitting a professional low or recovering from a serious accident, Amitabh is known for his strength to bounce back in life. However, when he went bankrupt, few people stood with him.
Earlier, in an interview with Rajshri Unplugged, Amitabh Bachchan's old friend, Aanjjan recalled the days when Amitabh's company ABCL Corporation saw a huge financial crisis, and he was on the verge of bankruptcy. Aanjjan had met Amitabh during that time and shared that Amitabh Bachchan had instantly folded his hands as he had a debt of over Rs. 90 crores. Aanjjan was quoted as saying:
"When we met him, he immediately got up with folded hands. He said, ‘I will return your money as soon as possible’. I told him ‘We have not come for that. We have come because of your accountant’s mistake. You return the money when you can, and we trust you that you will give, and that your intention is right. But in this kind of banking, don’t do transactions with other banks.’ I came back to the bank and told them not to file any suit. Slowly he returned all the money."
