The living legend of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan turned a year older on October 11, 2022, and he received immense love from his fans and well-wishers across the globe. The 80-year-old actor, who has been ruling the silver screen for decades, never fails to mesmerise his fans. Be it his acting chops, his philanthropy, or his grounded personality, Big B has always been a constant source of inspiration for all of us.
Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the popular show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, and the latest episode of the quiz show was a special one for him. The episode was graced by his son, Abhishek Bachchan, and his wife, Jaya Bachchan. During the show, the Bachchan family spilled beans about their family traditions among other interesting things.

In the episode, Jaya Bachchan joined her husband, Amitabh Bachchan on the hot seat and talked about the Bachchan family's birthday ritual. The veteran actress revealed that the Bachchan family doesn't follow the tradition of cake-cutting on birthdays, instead, they eat popular Indian sweet, milk cake on every family member's birthday. Talking about the same, she said:
"Humare parivaar me pratha hai hum birthday song nahi gaate, cake nahi kaat te... Hindustani mithai milk cake khate hai."
Meanwhile, in one of the segments of the show, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, extended her wishes to her grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan. As Aishwarya and Aaradhya couldn't attend Big B's birthday celebrations on KBC 14 sets, they recorded a video message for him. In the video, the mother-daughter duo can be heard saying:
“Aapko janamdin ki bohot bohot shubhkaamnayein. Hum par humesha aapka aashirwaad bana rahe. Dher saara pyaar. Dhanyawaad.”

On Amitabh Bachchan's 80th birthday, his son, Abhishek Bachchan visited the Tirumala Tirupati temple to seek blessings from the Almighty. He was accompanied by businessman, Anil Ambani, his wife, Tina Ambani and his sister, Nina Kothari. For the outing, Abhishek opted for a white kurta-pyjama, and he offered his prayers to Lord Balaji. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams officials honoured Abhishek, and other guests with a silk cloth and gave them 'prasad'. Check out the video below:
