JD Vance, an American politician, attorney, author, and Marine Corps veteran, is also the vice president-elect of the United States. In his personal life, JD Vance got married to Usha Chilukari in 2014. Well, a recent of his family picture, reportedly from Thanksgiving, had gone viral online, which netizens have been tagging as similar to 'a big fat Indian Wedding'. The post has sparked an interest amongst the netizens as a few days back, JD Vance was highly criticised for defending racist jokes.
Recently, taking to the social media handle X (Previously Twitter), a Silicon Valley-based venture capitalist, Asha Jadeja Motwani shared a photo of JD Vance along with his in-laws. In the photo, the vice president-elect of the United States, JD Vance was seen carrying his son on his shoulder. He was in the left corner and was wearing a blue-toned t-shirt with jeans. On the other hand, his wife and American lawyer, Usha Chilukari was seen on the right side, wearing a brown t-shirt and carrying their daughter. Well, in the caption, the capitalist, Asha Jadeja stated that the family gathering of JD Vance felt like a big fat Indian wedding.
After the photo was shared on social media, netizens poured their opinions into the comment section. While some users called JD Vance a family man, others mentioned that it actually felt like he was carrying his son on his shoulder in a mostly Indian way. A comment can be read as, "His son is sitting on his shoulder in a pure Indian way..." Another user commented, "JD got a sense of real family." A third user wrote, "From the pictures, it seems like a classic Indian family gathering!"

Time and again, JD Vance has talked about his love for Indian vegetarian cuisine and how his choices were influenced by his Indian-origin wife, Usha Chilukari. Talking to Joe Rogan on a podcast, JD Vance shared that if someone wants to opt for a vegetarian lifestyle, they should turn to Indian cuisine, as nothing can beat the options here. Preferring paneer, rice among others, JD Vance stated:

JD Vance and Usha Chilukari first met back in 2013, when they were studying at Yale Law School. Well, it seemed like destiny's call for them to meet, as they reportedly became friends pretty soon, and their bonding started evolving. So much so, that Usha even helped JD Vance to find his connection back to spirituality as well. The duo got married in 2014, and they are parents to three kids. They tied the knot in an interfaith marriage, and a Hindu priest performed the rituals. Talking about Usha Chilukari, she was raised in San Diego, California, in a Hindu household. Her parents used to live in Andhra Pradesh but migrated to the US in the 1980s.
