A video that looked like it was from Jhanak's haldi ceremony went viral. She had worn a yellow kurti sharara and had teamed it up with floral jewelery and headgear. She was also seen flaunting choodas on her wrists. She was seen dancing to Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty's famous song from Cocktail named Tumhi Ho Bandhu . Jhanak's then-fiance and now husband, Swapnil, was also seen dancing in the clip. Jhanak's hook steps to the song were crisp and perfect.
For her haldi, Jhanak opted for simple neutral makeup and kept her tresses open. Swapnil, on the other hand, looked dapper in a yellow kurta , white pajama and teamed it up with black glares.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Jhanak said she had no plans to quit acting intentionally. However, it took place on its own. In the words of Jhanak:
"I was a child artiste, but after a point, my parents told me that I should also focus on my studies and pursue acting post-graduation if I wanted to. So, I immersed myself in my studies, and by the time I completed my graduation, I wasn't interested in acting."
