The 34-year-old singer has decided to move forward with the decision of parting ways with the Game of Thrones actress. The duo welcomed two daughters together, one in 2020 and the other last year. News, ‘the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken' is stated as the reason for divorce. As per reports by TMZ, troubles were brewing in the happy paradise of the estranged couple for the last six months. They were facing ‘serious troubles’ in their marriage. As per reports, it is said that the JoBro singer has been taking care of their daughters almost single-handedly for over three months now.
Several media outlets have claimed that the real reason behind Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s split is the drastic changes in their lifestyles. A source close to the estranged couple revealed that the 27-year-old actress’s fondness for parties has been a driving force behind the divorce. The source said:
"She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles."

Joe Jonas has asked for shared custody of their minor daughters. As per the petition, he has asked the court for ‘shared parental responsibilities’ and the enforcement of their April 2019 prenuptial agreements. The petition states that a parenting plan should be created to address all parenting issues and establish a schedule that facilitates regular contact with both parties.
Joe has been living with their 3-year-old daughter, Willa, and their second daughter (whose name remains undisclosed) in Miami and other parts of the United States while on the most extensive Jonas Brothers tour. The amount of child support will be based on the monthly income of both individuals. If Joe earns a higher salary, he will be required to contribute to child support. If one party's income significantly increases or decreases, either party can seek a modification in court.

According to the latest report by The Blast, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner signed a prenuptial agreement a few weeks before their 2019 wedding. The agreement states that Joe will retain all royalties from his music with his brothers and his own band, DNCE, while Sophie will keep her earnings from Game of Thrones and her acting career. And any property purchased by the two individuals before their marriage will remain under the buyer's name only.
The couple had homes in Miami, Los Angeles, and the United Kingdom, but the properties owned before the marriage will remain with the respective owner. The only property that will be divided is their marital home. Sophie and Joe will both retain the rights to their image, likeness, and businesses related to their celebrity status.
