John Abraham Was Hrithik Roshan's Classmate, Calls Him The Best Dancer, Says, 'I Used To Waste My..'

John Abraham has been receiving a lot of love for his latest film, The Diplomat, which was released on March 14, 2025. The actor has been busy promoting his film and is giving fans an insight into his journey in Bollywood. Once again, he sat for a candid chat where he shared stories from his school days.

John Abraham revealed that he was Hrithik Roshan's classmate in school

John Abraham has been basking in the affection of his fans after the release of his film. Recently, he appeared for an interview with Pinkvilla, where he talked about his struggles in Bollywood, releasing offbeat films like The Diplomat and the current state of the industry. He also shared about his school days and revealed that he was a classmate of the stellar dancer and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actor, Hrithik Roshan at the Bombay Scottish School.

John Abraham called Hrithik Roshan the best dancer

In the same conversation, John Abraham reacted to an old class picture of himself and Hrithik Roshan. He reminisced his school days and recalled Hrithik as one of the most talented dancers. He went as far as saying that he was the best dancer. He was quoted as saying:

"Hrithik is probably the best dancer you have, and even in school he was so good at breakdancing. We used to have a period called cultural activities and all we did was we wanted to come and see Hrithik dance. He is so good. What a dancer he is. He is fantastic."

In the same conversation, he further recalled how he would waste his time in school. John Abraham shared that he would usually be on the football field. He praised his fellow actor and former classmate and added that while he was getting dirty on the ground, Hrithik Roshan would be dancing beautifully. He was quoted as saying:

"I wasted my time. I used to be on the football field. I did nothing but just turn brown on the football field. These guys dance so beautifully." 

John Abraham about collaborating with Hrithik Roshan

John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan both have essayed the role of anti-heroes in the Dhoom film series phenomenally. However, they have never shared the screen together. While they have also appeared in the YRF Spy Universe films separately, a collaboration between them would be one to look out for. During his chat with Pinkvilla, the actor was asked about an on-screen union between his character, 'Jim' and Hrithik Roshan's 'Kabir'. He addressed this and stated that while there was no reality to it yet, the topic was definitely not off the table and that he would love to work with Hrithik. He was quoted as saying:

"Yeah. I love him, and I think he is such a wonderful boy. We are classmates, so it would be really great to work with him."

John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan's work projects

John Abraham has recently been promoting his film, The Diplomat, which has earned Rs. 21 crores at the box office so far. He has also given the fans a hint about his next project. The actor will next be seen in Tehran. Hrithik Roshan, on the other hand, will grace the screen in the sequel of his action film, War.
