John Abraham is an icon who gave fitness goals to the '90s kids. He inspired millennials and emphasised being fit by following a fitness routine without shortcuts or cheat diets. Over the years, he delivered superhit blockbuster films, yet he has not changed his attitude towards the business. John Abraham, who is all set to break the box office with his upcoming film,Vedaa, revealed that he doesn't charge a bomb of money.
Bollywood celebrities often raise their fees in crores by delivering just a few hit films, but John believes in staying practical and doesn't charge hefty sums of money. In an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia for his podcast, John Abraham revealed that he doesn't charge out of his 'aukaat'. He added that he demands money according to his standard and he is proud of his content. John was quoted as saying:
"As an actor, my fee doesn’t put a load on the film. I feel if the film makes money, I will make money. I don’t want to load the film. Toh meri jo aukaat hai, jo mera standard hai, I make films according to that. I am very proud of my content."

John further revealed that producers still do not believe him despite producing a famous film, Vicky Donor, and working on films like Madras Cafe, Batla House, and many more. John Abraham revealed that studios do not respond to him as he does not use WhatsApp. He said:
"First, I don’t have Whatsapp so if I send an SMS to people, they don’t respond to me. I don’t get a reply for very long. I had texted a studio head and he told me that he will circle back but it has 4.5 months and he hasn’t responded. I don’t feel bad but I deserve one reply. I believe that if people believe me a little, I would want to try and change Indian cinema a little. I am not saying I am a game changer but I want to try."
For those who don't know, John was seen getting into a heated argument with a journalist. During the premiere launch, John answered media personnel's questions. However, the actor was questioned by a journalist about why he was doing similar roles and focusing more on action. To this, John lost his calm, and he straight away asked the journalist whether he had seen the upcoming film. Further, John asked if he could call out bad questions and idiots. He said:
"Apne yeh film dekhi hai. Okay can I call out bad questions and idiots."

During the same interview with Ranveer, John shared his side of the story and the reason behind lashing out at a journalist. Talking about the recent incident, John stated that the journalist was planted there to irk him up. They were trying to provoke him and the person won as John actually lost his calm, but the actor tried his best to bring his focus back. He said:
"I know that one person was planted there to rile me up, to antagonise me, to make me angry. And I want to say that they won and I lost because I got angry."
On the work front, John Abraham will be next seen in the upcoming film, Vedaa, which also stars Sharvari Wagh in the lead role.
