Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan’s Loveyapa is all set to release its trailer today, January 10, 2025, much to the excitement of fans. After the film’s quirky title track got everyone grooving, the audience could hardly wait to see Khushi and Junaid in action on the big screen. However, the excitement was further ramped up when the location for the trailer launch was revealed because it has a special connection with Junaid’s doting dad, Aamir Khan.
Today, January 10, 2025, marks an exciting day for Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor as they gear up to release the trailer for their latest film, Loveyapa. A Filmfare report recently revealed that the launch event will take place at the iconic New Excelsior Mukta A2 Cinemas, Fort Churchgate, Mumbai.
The revelation caught quite a few eyes because of its special connection to Junaid’s dad, Aamir Khan. For the unversed, the legendary actor’s debut film, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, also premiered in the same theatre nearly three decades ago. The nostalgic link to significant Bollywood history has further grabbed the attention of audiences and heightened the excitement for Loveyapa’s release.
It’s not just fans who are excited for Loveyapa’s release — doting dad, Aamir Khan is eagerly looking forward to the film hitting theatres, too! Not only that, the actor is also hoping to see the film work wonders at the box office. On that note, he pledged to quit smoking if the film was a hit, as per a Pinkvilla report. It is worth noting, however, that this statement has not yet been confirmed by Aamir himself.
In an interview with ANI, Aamir also took an opportunity to gush about how much he liked the film. He touched on the film's premise, stating that it highlighted how much life had changed due to mobile phones and the 'interesting things' that happen in everyday life because of 'tech.' Aamir also had high praise for Khushi Kapoor and said that he saw Sridevi in her. In his words:

Loveyapa is set to be a quirky rom-com with Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan in the lead roles. The film, directed by Advait Chandan, is a remake of the 2022 Tamil release, Love Today. Khushi and Junaid will reprise the much-in-love characters played by Pradeep Ranganathan and Ivana in the original release. Loveyapa is set to be a lighthearted drama focusing on the chaos that unfolds when a couple exchanges their phones for a day to test their relationship. Reportedly, the production was also closely overseen by Bollywood actor and Junaid Khan's father, Aamir Khan.
