Aamir Khan's elder son, Junaid Khan, is making headlines for his recent debut with Netflix's Maharaj. After a brief controversy, the film premiered on the platform on June 21, 2024. Since its release, audiences have shared positive reviews of the film and Junaid's acting. In a recent interview with ANI, Junaid shared deets about his father's reaction and advice.
Junaid has mostly avoided the limelight and glitzy events despite being a star kid. He rarely interacts with the media, and people know little about him. However, Junaid did a candid interview with ANI after the release of his debut film, Maharaj. He shared how his father, Aamir Khan, does not interfere in his kids' lives and allows them to make their own decisions. In addition, he revealed that Aamir saw the film before its release and reacted positively. He was quoted as saying:
"He (Aamir) normally lets us do what we want to do unless we ask for something very specific; then he gives advice. But he liked the film. Kuch mahino pehle dekhi thi unhone film aur unko kaafi pasand aayi. He normally tends to give very good advice but otherwise, he doesn't get involved in… he lets his kids be."

When the news of Junaid's debut film made headlines, netizens were impressed how the star kid made no hype about it. After the film's release, he has been largely appreciated for his performance. Junaid expressed how grateful he was for the praise coming his way. He added how he cannot express his feelings and happiness over the response. The starkid said:
"I am grateful for the by and large positive response that Maharaj has received. So yeah, it's quite satisfying. I guess all is well that ends well.I cannot explain in words what I'm feeling right now. Maharaj has been a long and wild journey for me, but all's well that ends well I guess."
A few months back, Aamir appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show. In the show, Aamir shared how he used to get scolded by his parents and took their guidance, thinking he would one day guide his children. However, his kids don't listen to him. The PK actor said that the kids of other actors and filmmakers seek his advice, but his kids are not interested in taking his suggestions.
