Veteran actor, Kabir Bedi's autobiography, Stories I Must Tell: The Emotional Life of an Actor has unfolded some hidden and unknown pages of his life. Now in his latest Instagram LIVE session with his granddaughter and actress, Alaya Furniturewalla, the actor talked about his life's biggest regret, and it includes his kids, Pooja Bedi and late Siddharth Bedi.

To give a background of starlet Alaya Furniturewalla, she is the daughter of Pooja Bedi and her ex-husband, Farhan Furniturewalla. The young diva of the prominent family had made her acting debut in Bollywood with the film, Jawaani Jaaneman.
On June 30, 2021, Alaya Furniturewalla took to her Instagram handle and hosted a LIVE session, in conversation with her maternal grandfather and actor, Kabir Bedi. The actress asked many questions about his journey in Hollywood and received a lot of pro tips from the veteran actor. However, the highlight of the whole conversation was when Kabir opened up about his regret of not spending much quality time with his daughter, Pooja Bedi and son, late Siddharth Bedi, during their childhood days. The actor also added that he had divorced his wife, Protima Bedi but not his kids. He said, "Even though I divorced your nani, I never ever divorced my children."
Going further in their LIVE session, Alaya Furniturewalla asked her nana, Kabir Bedi, to reflect on how he had incorporated his kids, Pooja Bedi and Siddharth Bedi, into his life in the United States. Answering the same, Kabir stated that whenever a divorce happens, the ones who suffer the most are children. The actor stated, "Whenever there's a divorce it's always a tragedy and the biggest sufferers are the children. Whenever there's a divorce people always talk about quality time...but quantity is also important."
Unfolding some memorable pages from his children's childhood, Kabir Bedi recalled how his kids, Pooja Bedi and Siddharth Bedi used to live in America with him. He said, "Those were very special times I spent with your mother and your uncle. They spent their last few years of high school with me. They came and lived in America with me then Pooja returned to Bombay to start her Bollywood career and Siddharth stayed on to go to university first Carnegie Mellon and then Chapel Hill in North Carolina. I always regret that I couldn't spend more time with them but then that's what happens in divorces."

At the end of their conversation, Kabir Bedi stated that he had always tried his best to make the most out of his time with his children, Pooja Bedi and Siddharth Bedi. He said, "One of my great regrets is that I couldn't give enough quantity time. So I tried to make it up by having the best time I could with them when they came. And that's what mattered to me. Being able to have that time with them and make the most of it."
