Kajol is one of the finest actresses in Bollywood who has enjoyed massive popularity. She has been acting for nearly three decades now and worked on several successful films in her career. The actress has never stepped back from taking up challenging or unique roles. As the actress celebrated her birthday on August 5, 2024, she has opened up about working on her upcoming film, Sarzameen.
Recently, Kajol sat down for an interview with Variety and talked about her upcoming film, Sarzameen. In the movie, the actress worked with Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and actor, Prithviraj Sukumaran. It is directed by Kayoze Irani, son of Boman Irani, and produced by her close friend, Karan Johar. Kajol didn't share many details about the project but mentioned that Ibrahim is wonderful. She was quoted saying:

"I've worked with Prithviraj for the first time and he's absolutely wonderful to work with and so was Ibrahim, so I think it's going to be quite interesting to see both of them on screen."

Kajol worked with Ibrahim's father, Saif Ali Khan, in over five films. Saif was supposed to debut in Bekudhi with Kajol. However, he was removed from the film. Later, they were first paired together in Dillagi and last time in Hameshaa. They did Tanhaji together in 2020 but didn't have any scenes together. Kajol revealed that she gets along well with Saif, and he is hilarious to work with. In an interview with ETimes, she said:
"I've always gotten along very, very well. We were supposed to do our first film 'Bekudhi' together so I've known him since I was actually 16 years old. And, and he's still as cool and as funny as he was then if not better. And in fact, we met recently for the promotions and we were in hysterics both of us on stage also, we were like really, really like laughing our guts off."
Kajol said fans often ask her when she will work with Saif Ali Khan again. So, she hopes to do a project with him soon. In her words:
"So hopefully, like everybody keeps asking me that will you do a film with Saif together, touchwood in the future somewhere, yes."
