Kajol, one of the finest actresses of Bollywood, needs no introduction. The diva never skips a chance to rule a zillion hearts with her incomparable acting chops and charming personality. The stunning actress made her debut in the acting world with the movie, Bekhudi. Later, she went on to work in several blockbuster films such as Baazigar, Yeh Dillagi, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, among many others. Kajol was last seen in the film, Salaam Venky. However, recently, one of the diva's films marked 29 years, and for the same, Kajol dropped a heart-melting post, which is unmissable.
Taking to her IG handle on November 4, 2023, Kajol dropped a poster of her old film, Udhaar Ki Zindagi. Sharing the photo, the diva penned a long note wherein she talked about her struggles of the past days. She also walked down memory lane and recalled how a then-20-year-old girl decided to find a better pace of work.

Kajol, in her caption, wrote that the film, Udhaar Ki Zindagi has been a turning point of her life. She also recalled how she was burnt out. Kajol further revealed how she, at the age of 20 years, decided upon the fact that she needed something better to do in her life, and then she followed that path. The diva also shared how, in the process, she learned to pace herself. An excerpt from Kajol's note can be read as:
"I was burnt out and I had given too much of myself away into work.. and I had to do something to change that. I took an executive decision at the great old age of 20 and decided that I deserve a break and a better pace of work. So I went ahead and did exactly that."
Kajol, in several of her interviews, opened up about her childhood. For instance, in 1999, during an interview with Karan Thapar, Kajol revealed that she had a very strict mom. Kajol mentioned that her mom, Tanuja, always believed in the fact that once someone spares the rod, they spoil the child. Kajol said that she was loved but never spoilt. The actress also stated that her mom used to beat her with badminton rackets and dishes. These anecdotes easily proclaim from where Kajol learnt her values, and till now, apart from being a talented actress, how she keeps it grounded, for which she is praised by millions.
