Kajol is one of the most beautiful actresses in Bollywood. She has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry, courtesy of her exceptional acting skills and jaw-dropping looks. The diva has proven her mettle in acting by working in blockbuster films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dilwale, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Lust Stories 2, My Name Is Khan and much more. Talking about her personal life, Kajol is the daughter of veteran actress, Tanuja. She is married to Bollywood actor, Ajay Devgn and they are blessed with two kids, Nysa Devgan and Yug Devgan.
In an interview with Film Companion, Kajol opened up about her mother and veteran actress, Tanuja. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that she hasn't watched many of her mother's films. Kajol added that she gets teary-eyed upon watching her mother's emotional scenes on-screen. Mentioning that she cannot separate Tanuja from herself, Kajol said:
"I have not watched too many of my mother’s films. Because I feel so much for her that I’m never able to separate myself from her. And when she cries on screen, I just sit and I bawl. So I have no objectivity where she’s concerned. She just makes me howl. And I think my children feel the same way about me when they see me on screen. So they can’t watch either."

Further, in the same conversation, Kajol revealed that her kids, Nysa and Yug also don't watch her films. Talking more about it, the actress shared that her kids don't watch her sad or emotional scenes. Kajol added that Nysa and Yug often tease her about crying in her films. Mentioning that she agrees with her children, the actress mentioned that she wished to work in a comedy movie.
Kajol also talked about her husband, Ajay Devgn and revealed her favourite movie from his filmography. Elaborating more about it, the actress mentioned that she loved Ajay's performance in iconic films like Bhagat Singh. In her words:
"I loved him in Company. I loved him in Bhagat Singh. I loved him in Zakhm. Three awesome, awesome performances. Recently, I would say I liked him in Runway. I thought he was really, really good in Runway 34. And I think out of all his performances, these stood out."

Earlier, in an interview with ANI, Kajol opened up about her maternal lineage. Talking about the same, the actress revealed how it helped her in becoming a strong individual. She further added that she was raised by a wonderful woman who never paid any heed to what society says. Kajol stated that she has a beautiful maternal lineage that taught her to be responsible for her life without caring about others' opinions. In her words:
"I have never paid heed to 'log kya kahenge in my life. I was raised by a wonderful mother. I was raised by a mother who did not give two hoots about society. Actually, I had a wonderful maternal lineage. From my great-grandmother to my grandmother and my mother, every one of them has always behaved and taught me by example that nobody else matters, your life is your responsibility and nobody else's opinion matters on that."
