And like every year, this time also Anil Kapoor's wife, Sunita Kapoor hosted a Karwa Chauth party for her ladies gang. Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had broken many hearts when she had tied the knot with the love of her life, Raj Kundra on November 22, 2009. The actress has been perfectly balancing her work life and family time with her husband, Raj Kundra, son, Viaan Kundra and daughter, Samisha Shetty Kundra. And this year, she kept her 11th Karwa Chauth fast.
On November 4, 2020, we spotted Shilpa at Anil Kapoor's wife, Sunita Kapoor's home for the Karwa Chauth party. The actress looked gorgeous in a red saree and a golden potli. She kept her look simple with a red bindi, sindoor and hair left open. However, it was her bangles that grabbed our attention. Shilpa restyled her wedding chooda for her 11th Karwa Chauth. Sunita Kapoor's Karwa Chauth celebrations are a hit among the Tinseltown ladies and every year the women gang up at her house to celebrate the festival. However, the year 2018's Karwa Chauth was an emotional moment for the Kapoors as they had lost the most important lady of the house - Sridevi Kapoor. Coming back to Shilpa and Raj's love story, in an interview with Romedy Now's The Love Laugh Live Show, the actress had talked about it. She had recalled her first reaction when her then-beau, Raj Kundra had proposed her with a '5-carat' ring. The actress had said, "He'd booked out the whole banqueting hall at The Grand. A bit OTT... he had like these violinists playing. He conned me into it; He said we are having lunch at a friend's place so dress up well. Not casually, just dress up well and my sister told me to wear red, so it was already planned. He told me from Mumbai we are going to this really cool place. I had no clue, but he had already asked my parents. So, the setting was all there and the cloche opened, and he did propose in the last course, dessert and it was this diamond ring."
